  • @TheArchanoz

videos >>>> learn that song section...

  • This fellow is a really good guitar player. He is the type of fellow that could probably mount the stage with zeplin or black sabbath, or any famous rock group an fit right in , not having to ask any one anything. He would be able to immediately fir right in and play the lead to every song they play. We should be glad that guitar greats like him take out their time to share their talent with the rest of us. Thanks.

  • @LacrymosaPrincess

einai kai stis 2...chackare kai to part1

  • You can also apply scale(same thing on 12th fret as well) to solo over "Sweet Child O'Mine", it works very well!

  • @KenSushi

    yes...

  • I like your accent...:P

  • amazing music! from HongKong

  • Yo Theodore Ziras, if you ever come to USA state of Florida, let me know - I will take you to eat at authentic Greek Village in Tarpon Springs (near Tampa) - maybe we sponge dive if you want - HA! ;~}

  • @shredder0911

    thank you

  • @shredder0911 lol a GREEK person will come to US and you will get him to a GREEK village ?? its like meeting a fisherman and get him to dinner and serve him fish..........if you know what i mean !!!!

  • That's a great and useful lesson...

  • Geia soy re Zira, thee...!!

  • Dude you rock

But if you talk English where you live you should really improve you accent

People will see and respect you way more seriously with a proper accent

I've seen some very nice audio book in The pirate bay which will teach you how to pronounce everything in English. This might be a bit difficult to begin with, but if you speak English everyday you should improve very fast!

One note - don't try to listen to a whole book in one day, it won't work and you'll end up just throwing it away.

  • @shlomiya

    i agree 100% with you...but

but if i will change my accent i will sound so stupid...believe me...

anyway i wil try something out about that....thank you

  • @tziras Search for this in pirate bay : Fluent English: Perfect Natural Speech,Sharpen Your Grammer

Dude you rather sound silly and foreign forever or sound silly for a few month and then feel a part of where you are?

Oh B.T.W it's weird for me too because of my native language, but in English you can't say "If I will"

After the stipulation always comes the simple present "If I change" "If he changes" and you can use "will" for the result only. "If I change my accent I will sound..."

    :)

  • @tziras Well I have no difficulty understanding you at all so I wouldnt worry about it. Great video as always, your technique is like art!

  • @tziras don't listen to that racist asshole telling you to improve your accent. if anything, at least in the U.S., your accent and the fact that you play guitar for a living are enough to impress countless women. Awesome video by the way. I'm a pretty technically advanced player in that i can play pretty much anything, but between college and medical school I haven't had the time to sit down and learn much theory in the way of writing my own solos, so please make more videos like this! I subbed

  • @bloodred345

    thank you.....

but i dont thing that the comments above are racist related...

  • @bloodred345 Racist? Are you a pussy? Why do you get offended so easily ?

LOL If you think you "impress" women by guitar or accent you're probably virgin. Women are attracted to men (NOT IMPRESSED BY THEM) when they see they're men, leaders, people with a personality, etc.

No one would suck your cock because you play guitar.

  • @shlomiya you are kind of an asshole for sayin that dude...its not like you :CANT UNDERSTAND HIM!!!! Jeeeezzzz FFS }=s

  • @zepha17 LOL not anyone gets so insulted when people give them tips.

  • hey muy buen video, muy buena aportacion, te quedo excelente

  • I'm confused,

How come you call it E Aeolian? and not just E minor?

E aeolian is a mode, E minor is a scale. right?

  • @progressiveturtle

    it is the same

  • @progressiveturtle Aeolian modes are based on the sixth key from a major scale, which basically the same minos scale. There's like three different names for it, but they all refer to the same thing.

  • @Metalpupett I'm familiar; the natural, harmonic and melodic minor scales. I'm just confused about the function of each, my music teacher always told my not to think of modes as scales because they are for establishing a tonal center and don't function like a scale in the key system. I'm still trying to digest the difference and when to use them. thanks tho!

  • THIS IS COOL!

  • Theo! ive been watching ur vids forever but do u know where i can get a list of some sort for scales? im learngin everything by ear but i dont know the rules of scales i can just play standard scale tryin to figure out how this works, from a begginer. Thanks

  • @genesisz1

go to the Lick of the Week page in my website....

there is a full index with the videos and the scales....more than 100 videos

  • What pick do you use man?

  • @42littlebit

    stubby 3mm

  • Hey thanks ,

    I learned by ear ,

    I started back in 1982 ,

I play that scale all the time ,

to this day I didn't know what it was called.

    wierd...

  • You Mr Ziras, like most shredders, need to spend less time practicing to a metronome and more time working on improving your bends... Maybe listen to some Andy Timmons or listen closesly to your bends on these videos.. they sound horrid

  • @hendrixian1

i honestly dislike ziras for many reasons, yet i dont think his bends sound crappy

  • @hendrixian1

    i will do it...thank you

  • @hendrixian1 wow! i guess Mr Ziras is kinder than i would have been. remember he's teaching, he's giving a lesson. he's not playing. do you any videos of yourself here playing?? or i guess you’re just trying to criticize ?!?

  • @hendrixian1 ...for fuck sake lad

  • @yahoochiewatchie Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan of TZ's shred abilities for years... since I downloaded an audio clip of him jamming in A minor from a site (which I can't remember the name of now... but it had all the shred guys on it) in about 2004 or 2005. But despite their technical skill, most of those guys never make it out of the basement because their bends/vibrato are not up to par with their speed. Thats what make guys like Yngwie stand out.

  • @hendrixian1 Couldnt agree more lol

  • @hendrixian1 dont be a an ass about it. Tziras rocks

  • @hendrixian1 Hey man why dont you post your OWN video and leave this guy alone

  • @headmonsterzero69 Lol he wasn't racing this guy, he just gave him a tip to improve his playing career. Not everyone get insulted when people give them tips, believe it or not but some would actually like to improve !!!

  • @headmonsterzero69 haha it's not like I attacked him... But you can't deny that his phrasing, bends and vibrato are not on the same level as his picking/sweeping etc

I figured he'd appreciate honest feedback rather than me lying and saying it sounded perfect. Go listen to some andy timmons and you'll hear what I'm talking about :)

  • @hendrixian1This is what I'm talking about. If TZ could combine his mad shred skillz with this --> /watch?v=KaVVZYOvMFY kind of phrasing/feel he'd be unstoppable.

  • Cool lesson!

  • AINTE ELLADARA!!!! :P !!

  • are you holding a pick?

  • @realjuvelive

    yes...

  • Noone forces you to only play notes that belong to a given scale. But scales are good practice for your fingers (technique) and ears. Also, you have an idea of what might sound good with a given chord. When playing guitar you have to balance between familiar and alien. Too familiar and it will sound boring, too alien and it will sound atonal, not musical

  • Wow... you do look scary when you play =O

    Nevertheless... cool lesson!

  • keep rocking! congratz from Turkey! :D

  • dude you rock

  • Awesome job.

  • scales are boring. I used to practice them but now I just make up my own. That way I don't sound like 'every other guitar player'

  • @crackmunch it's hardly possible to come up with a scale that doesn't exist yet

  • Another great lesson, the thumbs down are from IDIOTS, please ignore them.

  • good lesson

  • nice lesson! thanks

  • What is the scale?! I cant find tabs for it :L

  • @Brentypooz Aeolian

  • @Brentypooz

    please read the vidoe info

the tab is on my website (videos...learn that song section)

  • @Brentypooz E Aeolian is just another way of saying E natural minor- he's just using the standard E minor scale

  • NICE TIPS AND EXELENT CANAL FOR THE GUITAR PLAYERS GOOD JOB, NOW CAN YOU DO A TEST ABOUT THE DIGITECH RP1000 CAN YOU TELLME WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT BECAUSE I GOING TO BUY IT AND I WANNA KNOW IF IS THE BEST OPCION, THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS AND OF COURSE THANKS FOR THE ANSWER

  • @GONZALOBLOOD

i have no idea about RP1000

  • is aeolian mode just a c major scale played over a minor chord?

  • @HImynameis303

E Aeolian is relative scale with G Ionian etc

  • @tziras you 2 are talking alien talk to someone who never plays anything : /

  • @cryptsys

    this is basic theory...

  • @HImynameis303 Aeolian means nothing more than minor. they just try to be fancy. if you play for instance the major scale of C: C D E F G A B the minor scale would be A minor so: A B C D E F G. for other scales you have to include flats and sharps depending on what scale. What I mean is: for instance A major has A B C# D E F# G# so the minor scale would be again the sixth degree-> F#minor: F# G# A B C# D E

  • @asphixa ahh I get it thanks for the clear up bro, :D

  • @HImynameis303 No problem, I really hate to see people giving this sort of advice but you can't understand what they mean..

  • @asphixa

i already did videos for Aeolian

everythig is well explained...just search for the right video

  • @tziras I wasn't replying on the way you explain things on your videos but on a comment from another user

  • Great easy to follow lesson, thanks.

  • Cool. Thanks for posting.
