what some assholes forget is when they play rap at high lov with lots of distortion the plastic earphones are moveing and they can smoke out in your ear its not smart

=50/32 = 1.5625 Watts, so easily enough to blow earphones

I blew my ipod earbuds by playing a loud song on my ipod the song was encoded extra loud so it was a little distorted, it was the linkin park song breaking the habit in case anyone wants to know, I now use over the ear headphones and they sound awesome

I do that with my Nintendo DS Lite. I use Audacity's draw equalization curve to remove everything below 200 cycles, then use Leveler on Heavier setting, then normalize, then encode as Ogg Vorbis at 42 kbps. It's almost loud enough, but MoonShell has a boost function (clipping) so I put it on 200%. I'm wondering when I'll blow the internal speakers on the top screen.

I had a video of what was playing, but it got deleted. It's not a special sound..it can of be any song, all you do is crank up the level with Audacity so it goes reeaaallly loud.
