Isaiah, who lived before the time of Jesus, gave a prophecy about a "son" who would be called "Mighty GOD." Yeshua, the Son of GOD, is fully human and fully GOD. As such, he is both "Son" and "Mighty GOD."

It says, "For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Pele-joez-el-gibbor-Abi-ad-sar-shalom" The last bit means, "the mighty G-d is planning grace, the Eternal Father is a peaceable ruler." The second bit makes me wonder, to be fully human means mortal...G-d is not mortal. More you say ;)

It seems awfully strange to me, that a person (christian) can say that a man was god, and then say that the god of a people (Muslims) who are blood kin to the same religion that the person's religion seeks to devour (Judaism), when the two cousins (Islam and Judaism) have basically the same beliefs.

I did not say that Allah is the same as Hashem , but it seems a lot more reasonable to me than Hashem being a man. A tenth of the Jews in that time lived ba'eretz, even less in Jerusalem, and even fewer than that would have even had occasion to meet him. Why would Hashem set up a covenant at Sinai, to the entire nation, to have it subjugated 1000 years later at the witnessing of just a few? Just so that we could suffer exile, and genocide? there is one moshiach for the entire world, and when it happens, noone will have any doubt to whats going on. "no one will ask their brother teach me of G*D, for the knowledge of G*D will cover the earth like water covers the ocean." all people are created in the "image of G*D" and we will all rejoice together on the holiday of sukkot in the final Temple (see last chapter of zacharia.)
