Just for info only, you are only supposed to pull the cable out at the red tape only because it may stress the cable inside the reel and then need a repair down the line. I used to extend it beyond the tape and the cable broke interally. Lovely cats btw :-)

Never extend the cord further once the red tape appears. You're going to damage it.
