Loved this show,it was so funny and had some incredible talented cast members. You could tell everyone was pulling together to make this a great experience for the audience.I have the cast recording and still love it.
The audio CD was released and can still be acquired - although not cheap anymore. One also appears on EB occassionaly. I guess downloads might be available and cheaper.
A show you either loved or loathed - attitudes on here seem to reenforce that. Saw it three times at the Piccadilly and was easily the most enjoyable musical I saw - quirky, irreverant and with great music - Thanks for posting and Long Live the Whale
Incidentally I assume this was from the Terry Wogan chat show - the entire show was never filmed although there is an audio recording
I stumbled into this show by accident when I was in London during its run at the Piccadilly. I got a seat for five pounds in Leicester Square. I loved every minute of it, except I didn't get a pair of 3-D glasses at the beginning of Act 2. I found the CDs at Tower Records in London the next time I visited there; the recording was made a week after I saw it.
Amazing show..Guildford School of Acing are doing it next year! I auditioned for it when it was at The Piccadilly Theatre, missed out! I remember seeing this production with which included the late amazing Emma Priest. Comedy, your seat you were given an amazing gift pack...included a condom! Love it! Always be safe!
It's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be funny, a complete... I guess, not really parody. It's about when an all girls' school makes up this musical to raise money so they don't have to shut down.
just finished as deputy stage manager on this show with surrey youth theatre...such a great show, so underated and some fantastic numbers. This is one of the greatest songs in the show
Is that Trixie Shedbanger (Starbuck) at 01:11 ???
If not does anyone know her name?
Thanks

So was this from a TV special? It's obviously not the whole show? Was the whole show ever filmed for TV or video?
