  • Very beautifual and remarkable performance at 10 years. I would like to hear the ist movement.

  • Love her play but her dress can calm down a bit. It is a bit distract to look at.

  • ewwww....look at her dress. b4 i clicked on this i thought it was a bride playing 4 her wedding...now i have made a mistake.

  • Exquisite - Nobody can play better than this

  • Great, you have a beautyful touch:D

    Very compliment

  • tres bien!!!!

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very beautiful very ,u look beautiful too, u play so great! WOW!!!!

  • terrible audio recording, terrible orchestra, ..........but a genius of a pianist

  • Bravo! Yoon a in..so wonderful!..and perfect

  • not only perfect but very well interpreted!!!

and she is only 10 .... wow...!!!

  • Beautiful! Bravo, bravo, bravo! What a great spirit her age!!!

  • where is the first mouvement..?

  • Very virtuoso

  • #tschaikowski

You can not say that Kissins has better teachers than Yoon. Yoon studies at the Central Music School in Moscow with Vera Kameneva. A very fine teacher. You can not say that Kissin´s teacher , Anna Pavlovna Kantor is a better teachers.

  • A number of comments refer to her talent as "good". This young lady is much better than merely good. To be able to play at this level at age 10.....is nothing less than musical genius. Her musical maturity and technical expertise are beyond anything I have ever seen for someone so young.

  • There is another girl playing like this, look the videos from Aimi Kobayashi :-)

  • We will never know if this girl can match kissin's capacities at the same age. Kissin had better teachers, his mother and theacher were phenomenal career managers for him. Besides, there is racism in the musical world, asian pianist are generally disliked because most of them are mechanical but when one is outstanding, he or she will have a hard way to prove their worth. As a Korean, this girl will have it REALLY hard to get people's acceptance like Kissin, She's too young for a career anyway.

  • it's so ironic that there should be racism in musical world when music itself is an international language.

  • I was a fan of Kissin when he played this at 12, but ...wooow.... with YOU its another story, so beautiful, I love Chopin music, and you interpreted it so exquisitely at only 10 year old, I loved it, THANKS so much, oh, and what a beautiful dress too!....

  • 10 years old! Incredible! Incredibly good!!

  • i love this song!!!

and she's such a great pianist!!!

and the orchestra's great too!!!! :D

  • she's very good

  • wow, amazing :D!!

    i luv chopin *0*

    and that girl too

  • Mind bogling talent !!!

  • me estresa esa vaina ,,,,que viva el jazz y el latin

  • Only 10 years old. More Blessings to come!

  • yep.. I agree and She is a good Korean girl!

  • wonderfull to see and hear

  • This girl is amazing for her age. Give her time to develop her talents and watch her grow, then wow, one day she is going to be famous I'm sure of it!

  • Yes, gir gii is right and very clever. Rubinstein played it better when he was 75.

Opinions here are free and some are so fantastic!

  • It looks like there's an uprising "Evgeny Kissin"...This really reminds me of him..

  • Yes, I believe that she will be famous. Evgeny Kissin played both Chopin concerti at 12 years. She has the capability at 10. I never thought it was possible at that age. Now, I have proof!! Fantastic work Yoon A In. I really admire you.

  • Quite amazing

  • So ammmmmmmmmmmmazing!

How can it be possible at that age?

Her musicality and technic are excellent. Very fine performance! I just love it so much.

  • :o she's brill! I think the feeling will come with age, but crap she's good!!

  • Her technique is very good, but I think she is too young to understand the music - that desperation, that melancholy, the joy in the 3rd movement. Anyway I give her 7.5/10 :)

  • girgiii,

    I agree with you.

A teacher once said: "Brahms? Brahms you can play good when you are about 50 years old."

Although this isn't Brahms, I think that statement fits for most of the great works (as Piano Concerto's, Sonatas and so on, you know what I mean.)

  • young musicians in east asia scare me!

  • very good

  • Simply amazing! And she's only ten, just think when she's 20 what she'll sound like. I can't even imagine. There's no word in the English language to describe her ability.

    Thank you for posting!

  • YOOOOOOOW....

    really AMAZING!!

  • holy crap! This girl is great. Could use some expression but never the less she is awsome!

  • admirable!!!... sin palabras!

  • Maybe a little on the bland side (technical but needs more variation in expression) but you can't really fault the pianist as she's only 10 y.o.

We may have a professional pianist here - she easily has such potential. If she can have her musical interpretation talents mature, she can easily get into Juilliard / Curtis if she wanted to.

    Technique: 9.7 Expression: 6.8 Other: 7.5

    Overall: 7.8 (without age adjustment). Considering she's 10 y.o., she'd be 9.1/10.

  • I think I have to revise what I said above.

    Tech: 9.7 Expression 7.6 Other: 7.6

Overall: 8.1 (w/o age adjustment). 9.5 after age adj.

  • Hello

You play very nice. So young and so talent. I see the 2nd and 3rd movement of this concerto but I'm not found the 1st movement. You didn't play?

  • Obviously, she's a bit young and her sound is not the one of a Rubinstein.. but in ten years what will she do if even now she plays this way ?!

It's unbelievable. To be practising for several years and to be able to do that so young !

Bravo ! Keep on your (must be) hard work..

  • In March 2007, she was invited to give a recital at ... the Kremlin.

In Moscow, people realize she has interpretive genius, it would be fair to say, and in South Korea they must know. In America, she would be a Tween Television Hit with this Chopin. (I am guessing)

  • They would have a show called you think you can play

  • Unbelievable! Fantastic!

  • The pianistic talent displayed by young people around the world is remarkable. I admire the way she plays with minimal visual affectation; and there is similar directness in the playing too, with very little rubato or changes in tempo - she already understands that flexibility is more effective when it is kept in moderation (and it helps the conductor too in this piece). The second movement of this performance is also on YouTube.

  • Amazing young pianist!

  • Absolute ******!

  • Wonderful!!!!!!!!

  • Another magical Chopin performance. Audience and orchestra hypnotized.

  • Simply amazing!

  • Bravo!
