@MrJz92 its a katana sword, start using them, their faster, have stronger magic attacks and is a souls greatest weapon, if your a berserker then use stuff like claymore if you want their base weapon, i'd rather have the katana, even though on a berserker

actually keiga decreases the amount of damage u DO. it wont decrease the amount that you TAKE. thats why i dont use it

@poilkjmn1 actually it's a typo on the website. it reduces damage you take and increases your evasion and movement speed. you'll want to invest it this skill. it's a core soul bender defensive skill.

i do love the video and i did notice you left out rhasa and blache doesn't suck, i've seen blache used by watching so many videos and doing a dungeon with 1 and i've seen it and it works pretty well. I myself have a lvl 46 soul bender and i'm so close to getting it. I'm looking foward to getting it.

You do realize that Blache's damage increases the more ghosts you have out right? Kazan, Bremen, Saya, Rhasa, Keiga, Ghost Step and Kalla all add to Blache's attack.

@Wookieman008 Of course. Remember though: You need some extreme cast speed just to even get all of your ghosts out in time. The damage is good but to have to throw useful skills on cooldown for one big hit just doesn't make much sense when all of the skills individually could outdo the damage Blache does. That and it sucks for a few bosses.

@poptartbrger The whale isnt that great for PVP but you could use it in PVE if you like. The reason it isn't useful in PVP is the time it takes for the whale to appear and the fact that in serious matches you can't use awakenings. Of course, you could use the ghosts to make the whale appear faster but getting the awakening is personal preference.

@CorporateMundo IMO, now that they have the new level cap and will keep raising it, u will need to do harder and harder PvE, so not having the whale is just a bad idea.

@HorsetownProductions actually most of the other awakenings add up to 20-60k less dmg in some of the videos i've seen...EG i have seen blache hit 180k and ive only seen the Waves Eye only hit like 120k after added up

@HorsetownProductions I know you posted this a while ago, and I think you posted the Striker vid after this one but you say "it makes a big number" therefor it's not that good(?), that's why you didn't show it, but the Striker awakening skill does the same thing, yet you showed it?

Yeah, there's a lot of debate over Blache. I personally think it look awesome and I've seen it personally used against me in PvP. Damned thing OHKed me. >_< One of the major factors for why people dislike it is because it has a high miss rate.

Can you please make a monk tutorial? I have a hard time using my monk, yeah I suck, I'm level 31. I just get demolished in pvp all the time. I don't think my combo is too bad though, it goes XXX + ducking body blow + XXXX + dash uppercut + exquisite combo + sway + chopping hammer + smasher. But I have a hard time catching my opponent, and when I do I panic and mess up my combo :(

Ash, another question on soul bender pvp, Would not maxing moonlight slash allow me to juggle longer? I'm thinking of possibly leaving moonlight slash at 5 just for the fact that it would allow me to have its utility. The soul bringer Haru juggles people for quite a bit and i havent seen his opponents drop to the ground (meaning they reached the damage cap). I've also played people and reached the damage cap on them atm with 5 in moonlight slash, any advice would help!

@Ciniboi Scaling is based on how much damage you do to an enemy in relation to their max hp. This being said, being able to juggle the opponent longer does NOT mean you will be doing more damage, it just means it will be more flashy. On opponents with very high def and hp, this is where juggling comes in handy. The way the most successful Soul Bringers play (in tournaments) is the most annoying way to play: zone with ghosts and wait for cooldowns.

if you managed to knock someone into the wall/corner with a wave wheel slasher, its a pretty good move to trap them while taking hits if you set it up right. But just like Doppelganger Blast, the damage is fixed, so I dont find 35 SP per level worth investing for like..50 more damage per hit, lol.

I've been watching a few of the Ongamenet soul bender pvp vids and it seems that the soul bender has max ghost slash since it hits for around 6-7k on each of his opponents, but he uses Moonlight ALOT more so im really not sure which one to go for

Ghost Slash. You definitely get more bang for your buck maxing out Ghost Slash and you will still have the great utility of even a level 5 Moonlight Slash. However they are both extremely strong and for PVP I'd suggest a build that can max both.

If you keep moving in rhasa it will honestly never be able to grab you. It can work on players who don't know better or are bad in the first place, but those are players you could easily beat with barely any skills.
