LOL I'm such a fail, I've owned my TR24 for a year, I didn't realise you can twist the fibre optic section until I saw this video... I resorted to freaking electric tape...
@GunWebsites Ha :) Do you by any chance know if they do killflash for this? I can see threads from the front, can't seem to find anything that fits easily though.
Had a Swaro z6 2-12 and I replaced it with my 1-4, swaro makes good products but on a dead no moon night you cant see the cross hairs.. we need the illumination for those hogs.. these work perfect.. moon, no moon.. your covered.
@losunimo88 Even with acogs the idea is to keep both eyes open. You locate and track your target with the unmagnified eye and switch to the magnified eye on the fly to aim. Check out the Bindon Aiming Concept.
I love my ACOG and looked long and hard at the 1x4 when it came out, but whats with no bdc reticle?? I wish they had one instead of that triangle-on-the-post thing. I ended up buying a Burris XTR-14 instead, and it came with a Fastfire II. Knockout deal, and it also is an amazing scope. I couldn't have done better. I'll reconsider a 1x4 from Trijicon when they add hash marks. Otherwise, the TA-24 would've been perfect for my needs.
Dude, if your in a close quarters scenario you will not look in the scope. You'll just aim in the direction of the target and engage... FYI I'm an infantry rifleman vet and know a few techniques. Sick scope though man!
Several less expensive 1-4x are available. Okay for someone not willing to pay for better quality. But, they're not a Trijicon. You made a good choice. Now, learn a little bit more about your scope. People won't chuckle when they listen to you. Anybody gives you a hard time, they're just jealous.

seems to be a good option if you plan on shooting close quarters and up to 200 yards. witch is what i plan. plus it seems cheaper then other scope/ red dot options.
Hey dude, what mount do you have on there? I just picked up one and they put the wrong rings on mine. The damn eye relief is crazy on this thing, so I need it backed off a couple inches.
Another great product by Trijicion. EOTechs and Aimpoints are not overpriced, they are handmade to extreme tolerances and are the most rugged red dot / electronic sights you can pretty much buy. There is a reason they cost so much, and it's because they are the best.
There are several makers offering 1-4 power scopes at more reasonable prices. Bushnell offers one in the $90 range, Primary Arms sells one in the $120 range, Millet has one for just over $200 and Burris has one in the $600 dollar range.
Pentax use to offer a 1-4 power scope in their Lightseeker line of scopes that was designed for use on a shotgun. My Marlin 1895 GG wears one of those and it is just perfect for that rifle.

I've been having troubles finding the right ACOG... They make ones specifically for .30 caliber rifles, right?

my favorite trijicon scope is the ACOG. It has a 1x zoom for CQB and and a min range of 3x for mid range. I usually us that and an EOTEC on my AR

Way to much money for them optices for the ar15. Strait irons or plain old scope all the way,

A luepold mark 4 cost more than the accupoint. An Acog even more. What kind of plain old scope do you buy?

Trijicon and EOtech's are all real nice but I see no reason to spend that high of an amount on them. They're way too over priced IMO.
