14.8 mpg, heck wish mine got that. i got 33s on mine with a leveling kit and i get 14 tops, usually 13.6. wish i could mod this for more power but doesnt seem much out there for them. any idea what changes or if it can be done in putting the HO in this?
@Darkcruzer23 - Dodge made sure the Raider could not challenger their Dakota for trim levels or engine output. But mechanically their pretty much the same so I don't know how difficult it would be to put the High Output motor in it. Would probably cost more then it's worth. BTW I have sold this truck 8 months ago AND my motorcycle. Went down to just the Mustang for a couple months before buying a 06 Superduty and a old broken project GMC 1500 from a co worker
@SavardRn - This is a simply cat back setup with standard piping and the muffler. Meineke around here does these Duel's for $300, check with a Meineke around where you are or even just any local muffler shop. Having them do it is honestly cheaper then getting the entire kit. If your just looking for the sounds that's the best way to go, but if you want as much power as you can get the kit's are better but more money Thanks for watching.
@haydenz13 - Short trips it's great, when you feel like playing a little it's great... All the rest of the time it's a pain in the rear. I just sold my Truck less then a week ago, not because of the pipes but because of the Gas Prices and the fact I have that Mustang in my other videos. Mustang paid for, Raider $400 a month with Insurance... Easy choice. Thanks for the comment.
@omcone3 - I got these installed at Meineke, they were running a special $230 even for the pipes and installation. That was a while back, and their still running the same special at the shop in town. In all honesty it's just the 1 in 2 out Flowmaster Muffler with their own ( Bendy) Pipes used to go over the axle. Not ideal for power, but I knew that getting them I just wanted the sound. And they are GREAT for that! Thanks for watching and commenting.
@w171020905 - mine came with the hitch installed. But any Class III Hitch will be the same thing. I doubt you will need trailer break wiring harness being a V6, I don't even have breaks on my trailer. Any mechanic could install, but it is pretty easy to do yourself to.
Check for Dodge Dakota lift kits. They are the same truck other then sheet metal and all. If they have them for the Dakota, check with the shop your working with to see if it would work on your Raider.
The V8 is spunky, but a Tacoma or Frontier V6 will still out run me. Though mine sounds better then any of them with similar pipes and I can tow more. The V6 is a good truck, but slow, it's a bit heavy for the old tech V6. Bet you get better mileage though ;)
@vulpixgrant Are you sure a Tacoma or a Frontier can outrun you? Maybe a supercharged tacoma can. A frontier might give you a good run (due to weight maybe combined with 265hp) but I doubt it could beat this truck or a Dakota with the revised 4.7.
@gajda1984 - Yeah, I.m sure since the magazines I get tested them. My problem is Mitsubishi didn't get the H.O. 4.7. Dodge reserved that motor for Dakotas and other Dodge trucks. 235hp is what I have factory. And she is an 07. Thanks for the comment.
@vulpixgrant well it is a truck and hauling things is what makes a truck good, though if you had the H.O. version, you'd have over 300hp. your truck would fly and destroy most pickups on the road in acceleration! my 08 durango can get to sixty in under 8 secs, i'm sure the dakota and the raider with the H.O. version would be faster yet.
@gajda1984 - My truck is top of the line short of 4x4, Raiders couldn't get the H.O. Because Chrysler didn't want the Mitsu being as high end as the Dakota. That and a few other missing nicities to. But it's quick enough, I just don't race Dodges unless their is a V6 badge on the rear.
the sound of the USA, nice one

Very quick truck! what year is it? I have a 2008 Durango with a 4.7 and it is plenty quick and better on gas than the hemi.
