I love animals and if people kill animals for meat i don't have an issue with that. I have 3 dogs 1 that I rescued and the others I got from CL. I take care and spoil them. They are well behaved and trained. I think the American Indian has it right on the hunting. You use all of the animal, not just hunt for sport. Peta works with no kill shelters and other places of that nature and the places they are tied to have had to unthanize animals that sustained injuries so severe medical aid was no longer an option. Peta has never paid anybody to kill anybody. Maybe a crazy individual claiming to be a member has.

I don't really believe that animals have a soul like humans...but I completely agree with you when you say that they deserve better. We already have medicines that are on the shelves but they are still getting tested on animals. if we know they work, why keep trying to improve them? and a lot of things that are tested on animals are proved to have no significant importance. they aren't really used for anything at all.... they shouldn't be testing meds on animals that there is no need for.
