First time I went to whinlatter I made the mistake of using SPD's (Id only been using them a week prior and was still a bit green). Didn't have a great deal of experience riding trail either. Needless to say: I came back with severely bruised knees and elbows.

Fair dos though, I've had many a spill in my earlier laps in 2008 with my too skinny tyres.

Bit confusing here guys coming on to the vid a bit late, the "no helmet" scene which seems to be the cause of so much corree is on another vid. Not wearing a lid of some sort is not in my book but each to his own and UK is free country right? As for the profanity, well "sticks and stones" is my answer to that. Keep riding

i agree with you it is very stupid to not wear a helmet on theese runs evan though they are not as extreme as other places it only takes once to fall off and that is what my freind did on an xc ride and now has a metal plate in his skull and had o learn how to speak again.

If it makes you feel any better, I came off in the same place on the 21st of Feb this year. Came back to it today and did this route twice, thankfully didn't come off either time.

I understand your point about riding without a helmet which is certainly something i would not do. I would gladly receive your negative/positive comments,but there is no need for foul language in any instant. Anyway Reacher...I hired a bike from the centre and had an amazing time on the trails! I only live 20 miles away from it so I'm definitely going back out there!
