    looks like something I could use to ware out my teenagers though.

    Does it have to be perfectly calm to try it ?

  • No, the water doesn't have to be calm but it helps. I have taken it out in rough water and it requires more energy to keep it going. There are some videos around of people surfing with them. It does take a little determination to get the hang of it but sticking to it is the key.

  • I can ride it now until I run out of steam. I usually go for a couple minutes at a time. I will be bringing it to Wayland Sarurday.
