This has to be one of the best remakes i have ever heard, smooth, melody and still has that nice jazzy beat.

My dad was a sax player and he loved the original Take Five by Dave Brubeck version with Paul Desmond playing the sax. I also really love this version with Eric Singleton playing. KKSF in San Francisco use to always play it. I found it on the Rare Requests Smooth Jazz XL CD years ago.

not really in the spirit of the original song. take five by dave brubeck had a trademark of being in the 5/4 time signature, hence the name "Take Five". This group put it in 4/4. I have no idea why they did do that but it should be called take 4

Brubeck was the master and Take Five is an all-time classic.

This version, however, is an excellent fusion of Funk, Dance and Old School Hip-Hip, yet is still true to it's Jazz roots - a very cool track.

I like the new version... but I believe one of the reasons why the original was called take FIVE is because of the tempo. This is more like Take Four XD
