@WilliDaChili AKAIO may be great, but it is by no means the ultimate firmware. The EDGE's simplicity and ease of use are some of the many strong points of the EDGE cart.
@metoolazy Maybe... I just said that because I own a flashcart which is based on the akaio firmware, but I do find it very simple to use. I haven't tried EDGE or any other flashcarts except the original R4, but I find Akaio's simpicity and customization very nice. But all the flashcarts are pretty much the same though, so I dont think it matters...

How do you do it exactly? I downloaded many themes/skins and placed it in the microsd card but when i go to the settings and press skin nothing happens. Please tell me how you do it :D Thanks :D
@828ilovemusic You need to place it in the skins folder in separate folders (unzipped). The settings should automatically detect them. If not, you may be downloading the wrong skins.
ok to change the theme of your edge ds simply select a theme then download with WinRar.exe when it's done downloading, you will see the folder of the theme you downloaded drag or copy it to your EDGE DS skin folder then turn on you DS go Settings/misc press a on the Skin:Default this is all i got
Edge is the best supercard available, mine came with 8 gig micro-sd and the maximum is 32gigs! Thats more memory than my goddamn 8-year-old computer has.
Had an R4 before , loved it but it wasnt SDHC compatible. I bought an M3 DS Real and boy what a poor quality build, it stopped functionning after 3 months.
Am totally in love with the Edge DS, amazing product !!!!

The Cyclo DS themes are compatible with EDGE, ive tested it they work fine. All you have to do is under the EDGE folder in the root directory of the SD mem card make a new folder called "skins". Then make another folder in the skins folder and just drag and drop your them in that new folder. You may call that theme whatever you want. Then turn on your DS, go to the settings tab, and then change your theme.
With 2gig, the edge can't hold that many games. On average DS games are between 15 to 60 megs, but some of them, like any square game, run up to 250 megs, so it all depends, I currently have about 25 with no room left, but I have some pretty big games on there.
Yea, I know, but the price difference between a 2 gig and a 4 gig is quite a jump. I was just responding the the specific request of Blimp asking about a 2 gig, sure you can go bigger, but I was addressing his specific problem, but you are in fact right, it will take bigger if oyu can afford it.
The EDGE has somthing like 90% of the same code in it's firmware thats identical as an early version of the cycloDS. I don't really care, I'm just saying the EDGE is a great card because the CycloDS is a great card.

You can change your skin with the updated version of Edge OS. It was updated on the EDGE website lately. Go to the Downloads section.
