@LynxCoding Generally a space craft of some kind, but what Dr. Kaku was referring to was the fact that the locations of the particles in your body are basically a cosmic craps shoot. The way they interact with each other and the particles in the environment generally place them in a specific pattern that is you, but on the quantum level there is no hard rule saying that they have to stay that way. It could just be your unlucky day and the quantum dice land on "Go to Mars".

Like, (going back to your example) the ball breaking/not breaking the window could be calculated (angle, velocity, etc.), so a new universe won't be created, similar to when you throw a coin and wait to see if you get heads or tails. Therefore, I think Michio Kaku's example would be much better, because he invokes a cosmic ray, which is a quantum event that is unpredictable.

What force in the universe can allow for creating a copy of a universe every Planck time (5.39106(32) x 10^-44 seconds) since choices and events are occurring constantly.
