@bandonbound Honestly i don't think it is. It probably doesn't mix in well because this audio is most likely coming in directly from the console and it wasn't done in a fancy isolation booth in a studio. The reason I don't think it is "karaoke" is because typically when bands overdub the vocals for a live performance, they will auto-tune the vocals. There are a few small tuning issues in the vocals that they would have fixed. In my opinion, it is a good LIVE vocal performance. (audio engineer)

....one thing that you guys might be hearing is the delay effect. They use that quite often on their CDs and are trying to make the live show as much like the CD as possible. The funny thing is that if you DO go sing karaoke that is always the effect the "karaoke engineer" uses on vocals :-)

went to a concert in Atlanta. They were touring with the offspring. I went for the offspring. Left because after the offspring because 311 was so loud you couldn't understand them, and they were auto tuning themselves. They suck. i wasted that part of my life. i wish i could be nicer
