This model only takes an RF type signal on the antenna input but some other models accept composite video and audio

I have a good ol' AKAI Studio Series (not sure what model) and a TEAC Converter Box. But i don't have a digital antenna in my house, there's one on the roof but the cables go into the lounge room so I don't get digital TV! But the good thing is that I live is AUS! I get another three years b4 my signalz turn off :).

If you have an analog car TVs (or portable DVD player with analog only TV), you can use a 12-volt car lighter plug (or they called it, cigarette lighter plug)

having the converter box i pretty good they use 12v which means you can use these in the car so there not actually useless and the converter box since it runs on a battery pack you can still take it on to trips or when you go fishing not tottaly uselees
