@thatkindofguy234 lol true, and there's simple physics behind this too: no matter how little, your knee will give way ever so lightly blunting the impact...a sledghammer, for all intents and purposes, doesn't...
they may both have the same force, but the impact is gonna be wildly different...
I can make that combo, is freaking awesome :D the only way to stop it is when the guy face you with the hanuman you try to punch him faster as you can, cause if you dont, well you will see the result later (ouch)
@jorgborb It's quite possible, but the techniques are slow and dangerous to execute. Stepping in like that you can be countered with a hook, unbalanced with a lowkick, or taken into a very disadvantageous clinching position.
That makes that you won't see something like this too often. Flying knees occur more often because they're a bit less risky.
@mrphilthify they say it because they are trying to make you realise how dangerous this move can be..... also would you like to be hit in the chest with a sledgehammer... no, no-one would
I understand the skepticism, and I don't wanna sound cocky or arrogant, but there is such a thing as OVER-estimating your opponent. I'm not saying go into any confrontation like a total over-arrogant prick, don't underestimate anyone either, but if you're too cautious and over-estimate someone then you're gonna be too cautious to try stuff like this that could win the fight for you, I guess I'm trying to say find a balance...and just go for it, lol.
If you watch the full episode of human weapon, you'll see a muay thai trainer say they don't use it because it leaves you exposed. And yes it comes from the ancient muay thai form. But i do think this can deliver much damage, if done correctly ...
To stop a hook all you have to do is raise your shoulders to your ears and duck your head. History channel doesn't hav ethebudget to animate all of it though.
@knuckles7992 i call that they have nothing to do with the attacks pretty much random. what does density equals volume divided by mass have to do with a kick?
@Maxjeee11 First of all density is mass divided by volume not volume divided by mass. And you shouldnt talk about what you don`t know.Goolgle the first formula you see.I bet it`s a real formula.
@knuckles7992 I do know about it, I only swapped those two because I had to translate it, and about those formulas: I've never said they weren't real; the only thing is they don't have anything to do with a kick or a punch.
i've tried the second move out of intuition during a fight, it sort of landed as the guy was charging and thought it landed more sort of my lower leg planting into his chest rather than the knee it pretty much ended the fight.
I do Muay Thai and my uncle teaches me some Muay Boran, yet i never considered using this move in a tournament. But i guess it would work, who in the hell would invent a move in the war when it doesn't wok?
