  • Hanuman Punch by Tony Jaa Techniqs

    8N9_-H4I9rA

    1:33-2:00

  • Two words: REEL STEEL

  • zica du morru

  • Best fight is to avoid a fight.

  • it's gonna be hard to get that close!

  • @ninjacon64 not if the other person is leaning in for something like a muay thai clinch

  • @Epeaf you got me there

  • @ninjacon64 The way they show it makes it look kind of stupid though "Drop your guard and lean in! Nothing can go wrong!"

  • jin from grand chase does the hanuman in a way different way?

  • dude the speed of the grey guy its amazing lol

  • never mess a grey guy

  • aww shiet hanuman visits lanka

  • this person voice is like the magiv reveal thing arh whatever fuk you ehoever who read this

  • then insted of learning the kick lets go buy a sluj hammer

  • the equations are for the nerds

  • I'm sorry but I think I'd rather be hit in the chest by a guys knee than a sledgehammer :P

  • @thatkindofguy234 lol true, and there's simple physics behind this too: no matter how little, your knee will give way ever so lightly blunting the impact...a sledghammer, for all intents and purposes, doesn't...

they may both have the same force, but the impact is gonna be wildly different...

  • THE RASTA MOVE: Roll a joint, share it with your opponent, the fight is over...

  • @gringodeltoro1 or he could just take it from you

  • this is a stupid skill

  • can anyone say flash knockout moment?

  • Knees freaking suck, it hurts alot

  • you sould start be puting clothes on thoes guys

  • I shall use this on someone as if id be in an anime series, the name makes it epic.

    Ninpo; HNAUMAAN! boom

  • i like the sounds effect... lol

  • They are teaching people how to be killed! o.O

  • Imagine you're the monkey holding Simba.

  • I can make that combo, is freaking awesome :D the only way to stop it is when the guy face you with the hanuman you try to punch him faster as you can, cause if you dont, well you will see the result later (ouch)

  • I liked the part where the grey guy hit the other grey guy.

  • so, are these tricks possible or did they just created this video to make people dream?

  • @jorgborb It's quite possible, but the techniques are slow and dangerous to execute. Stepping in like that you can be countered with a hook, unbalanced with a lowkick, or taken into a very disadvantageous clinching position.

That makes that you won't see something like this too often. Flying knees occur more often because they're a bit less risky.

  • i saw the flying knee by some japanese guy in the MMA. Took this 235 pound guy put 2 seconds onto the match.,

  • where did the flying knee come from

  • @MrMagic0037 unicorns

  • 0:27 this guy has some serious hops

  • This move is good for catching people as they come in for a single or double leg take down.

  • The Omega symbol in the formula means "The end of the fight..."

  • Et=1/2mv^2 means you're screwed.

  • @hiddeninthemist It's kinetic energy...

  • the hanuman is based on an omega strike where only 1 punch (if done right) is enough to kill using 2 fists and your legs behind it must be overkill

  • Omg 0:31 see the oppent fly man !

  • im sure it is very effective but you have to have a really slow opponent beacause every one else would see it coming

  • If you really want to knock down someone. Why not just use a GUN! hahahahah

  • @sauronchen because really men fight with your fist.

  • @sauronchen It's because when you use a gun, you might kill the guy and end up in jail. Martial arts is safer for you and your attacker :)

  • @sauronchen because some people have the balls to take somebody on with their bare hands.

  • This move's full name is "Hanuman ta-wai waen" (หนุมานถวายแหวน) that means "Hanuman gave his ring"

Hanuman is the Legendary monkey's name.

I don't know is this move fatal. But I believe that Muay Thai is the most fatal technique of the world.

  • @NemoHakase yes - ish...

but the ninja and silat are most fatal....

    both to perform and practice

  • @v1tusphoenix, It's not really the martial art that dictates deadliness, but the fighter.

  • @elevat0r123 true.

  • Human Weapons makes everything sound so epic! ...."It's equilavent to hitting your opponent in the chest with a sledge hammer"

  • Knee of Justice!

  • this fatal?

  • @thedickycheung very fatal

  • looks like he belly bounces him !

  • I love this movee xP

  • I LOVE THESE VIDEOS,GOOD JOB BRO

  • Udyanmaartand Koti Prakat Ruchiyutam Chaaru Veeraasanastham,

Mounji Yagyopaveetaarunn Ruchir Shikhaa Shobhitam Kundalaamkam.

Bhaktaanaamishtadam Tam Prannat Munijanam Vednaad Pramodam,

Dhyaayed Nityam Vidheyam Kulpatim Goshpadi Bhootvaarim.

  • Why do they always say: WITH A SLEDGHAMMER?

  • @mrphilthify Because it's a lot cooler than saying with a brick.

  • @mrphilthify they say it because they are trying to make you realise how dangerous this move can be..... also would you like to be hit in the chest with a sledgehammer... no, no-one would

  • @bicyclepro12345 i would

  • @TheDiamondGeezers hahaha

  • @mrphilthify Cause it fucking hurts.

  • I understand the skepticism, and I don't wanna sound cocky or arrogant, but there is such a thing as OVER-estimating your opponent. I'm not saying go into any confrontation like a total over-arrogant prick, don't underestimate anyone either, but if you're too cautious and over-estimate someone then you're gonna be too cautious to try stuff like this that could win the fight for you, I guess I'm trying to say find a balance...and just go for it, lol.

  • If you watch the full episode of human weapon, you'll see a muay thai trainer say they don't use it because it leaves you exposed. And yes it comes from the ancient muay thai form. But i do think this can deliver much damage, if done correctly ...

  • To stop a hook all you have to do is raise your shoulders to your ears and duck your head. History channel doesn't hav ethebudget to animate all of it though.

  • yeah

  • the first move wouldnt work.

  • hahahaha did you try it?

  • @1234567890conor the hanuman strike is a kill move if u do it right its been handed down in my family for hundreds of years

  • i know what chu mean. every time i get in a fight i feel like a thousand years of martial arts knowledge is unlocking within me XD

  • yeah, they would see that comming

  • I like the mathematics and physics behind it

  • me too!

  • @xgalba00 try adding it up and then it doesnt make any sense

  • @xgalba00 Everything is physics.

  • @xgalba00 Yeah but they also just put in some random formula's to make it look cool.

  • @Maxjeee11 they not random

  • @knuckles7992 i call that they have nothing to do with the attacks pretty much random. what does density equals volume divided by mass have to do with a kick?

  • @Maxjeee11 First of all density is mass divided by volume not volume divided by mass. And you shouldnt talk about what you don`t know.Goolgle the first formula you see.I bet it`s a real formula.

  • @knuckles7992 I do know about it, I only swapped those two because I had to translate it, and about those formulas: I've never said they weren't real; the only thing is they don't have anything to do with a kick or a punch.

  • @Maxjeee11 its just a dumb video anyways.if we knew each other in real life this seems like one of those ways that best friends would meet eachother.

  • @knuckles7992 lol y

  • @Maxjeee11 i don`t know...

  • @xgalba00 yeah they always use the same formula for kinetic energy...like it's so cool

  • @xgalba00 i like the martial arts and physics with anatomy behind it ;)

  • @xgalba00 its funny isent it? how something that dull and boring , can be so deadly. :)

  • este golpe no sirve

  • i still dont get how this is effective. even in a street fight.

  • i've tried the second move out of intuition during a fight, it sort of landed as the guy was charging and thought it landed more sort of my lower leg planting into his chest rather than the knee it pretty much ended the fight.

  • Would that be effective in a real fight? what do you think?

  • Well, if you would do an uppercut in a fight, would that work?

  • hmm, depends on situation and reflexes of the opponent O.o , :P

  • True True. But what's faster? Hanuman or an uppercut?

  • Hanuman? :D

  • well i suppose...=)

    (Totally unbiased oppinion )

  • Well, is here anyone, who can give us an experiential answer? :P

  • I do Muay Thai and my uncle teaches me some Muay Boran, yet i never considered using this move in a tournament. But i guess it would work, who in the hell would invent a move in the war when it doesn't wok?

  • how much time do u do muay thai?

i do it to but i never even tried in training this move...

if u try it let me know

  • I trained in Muay Thai + A bit of Muay Boran since i was 6. I moved to New Zealand and come back to Thailand every december, to visit Thailand and train with my uncle. And Now i'm 13

It will be a while until i go on another tournament so i'll just have to wait till then. UNLESS they have Muay Thai matches in NZ

  • i see,....ok

i tried in training this move but its not efficient when u try to not hurt your friend

  • lol!!!! i tried the same thing 2 days ago!

  • it seems you guys are regarding the 2 fist hitting a little too much

i see all u guys arguing, in asian kick boxing styles, anything that reflects anjaneya, or hanuman (2 names for the same) they refering to the explosive leg power (also seen in this flying knee in t he video), so if you were to compare to an uppercut that would be wrong, it would be a different variation of doing an uppercut

  • ahhhh....i see, thanks for the info. But what is still not sure is that if we were to compare the uppercut with the hanuman, which takes longer to get into enemy's guarding?

  • again, the hanuman refers to the footwork, and the explosive force from the thigh's and calve muscles, (if it helps you at all, hanuman is a hindu monkey god, so any move named after him would usually be something like jumping high)

  • I was think of the god them I saw this vid too

  • comparing the double fisted technique in this video, i think it would take longer to get through a guard, then just using a single hand to upper cut, and keeping the other hand for guarding, but it will be less power tho, using both hands gives you the hope of toppling over the enemies guard

  • Thanks for your opinion.

  • back... still....

i think that doing pressure with your legs u could give good power in this att... and since u have your arms near you u have defence..... and he cant kick you... or punch you because u are to near...

  • but that doesn't really stop the defender stepping back and if the attacker already attack which means that his arms will be up high, legs already downward and a HUGE gap in the middle which can stop a front kick or a flying knee.

I dunno, i'm just guessing what it will be like in the middle of the hanuman, like i said, i have no experience in using this move.

  • Hi , i am living in Thailand from 1993 , fought between 1995 and 2000 in Samui Chiangmai and Bangkok....watching every saturday and sunday in Tv and live thousant of muaythai super pro match...but i never saw this move...so...or we are all ignorant...or this technic is a crap !

  • i'm pretty sure this is part Muay Boran (Ancient Muay Thai)

  • i think that too... i think its a boran move.... but we all agree that we can do well without this move..... i think i can improve without it.....XD

  • Ah lol, all agreed.

  • They don't use this appearently because it is too slow and too powerful to use in ring matches.

  • banned from games dude..its almost lethal even with lesser power.also very hard to deliver to well trained enemy.after failure it leaves you wide open.i suggest judo's thrush of head to the knee by pulling with both hands from the neck.

  • thats cuz in fights, most people heart rate gets so fast and they are unable to recap wad they learn.therefore this move is to complex to remember at that time.however if one is able to keep composure,u would need to give ur opponent a hard punch to his face or body first,b4 performing this combo lol

  • yea adrenaline gets the best of people

  • heart rate has FUCK ALL to do with memory.

    spellcheck.

  • i like the hanuman

  • this move is awesome and powerful!!!

  • This move is pretty ridiculous.

  • i bet this move could work somtimes, but i dont think id ever try it. looks like way to big of invatation for a right hook or knee.

  • Hanuman Jong Tanon is more reliable. You set it up with a jab-cross-uppercut, and if your skilled, you can set it up with a jab-cross-jab or just a jab.

  • its spelt khru not kru

  • this is the signature move from the Kru from Phenom Pen.
