I have to ask...when you go to the cinema or watch television with friends, do you always refrain from mentioning any part of what you've seen afterwards? Do any sentences that begin with: "Wasn't it funny when..." trail off into awkward silence? People write out their favourite quotations on YouTube to share their enjoyment with others in a friendly and sociable manner. "Pathetic"? Get over yourself.

Because YouTube is a very large forum, that adds up to many quotes. Is that preventing people who want to write indepth comments from doing just that? No, of course not. Is everyone who quotes a funny line "braindead"? No, of course not.
