@finskakiller one way or another, flying behind the bombers is asking for trouble. Engine damage, pilot's death, all kinds of troubles. Best way is to attack them from above, do a run, kill one bomber, climb back up, do a flip on back and descend for another run. And repeat. There was a great video of exactly that, the guy was killing Jap bombers, it was almost sad. 17 bomber kills.

@JokeeGA5 yeah, it's terrible to attack something like 4-6 B-17 with a Bf-109 or FW-190 'cos no matter where you attack there will allways be atleast 4 guns shooting at you.

@finskakiller Yeah, but when you come from above, the gunners will have a hellova time trying to hit you. I mean, you will be going so fast that they would have to add like 1000m to hit you. So the only danger will be when you do your attack run and start climbing again. The moment when you pull up from the dive, will be where you are the most vulnerable.

@finskakiller I figured it out, but the only problem is that that option isnt always available. If you can fit your plane with those huge anti tank machineguns, its piece of cake. But the option to fit those 50s on a Fighter are rather rare.

Few tips: Fire at the engines, if you clip a wing off in a dogfight it's a mere bonus and awesome kill, but engine is essential. Also, come in from above when dealing with bombers and initiate a lead pursuit. Or, come in from the front from about 2km away and fire when about 300-400 meters away. You've got a good chance to kill the crew that way.

nice shooting, and though I know this is only "practice" and a simulation, getting close in your run and hanging behind and below the target makes you vulnerable to damage from debris coming off the wing and fuselage, better to approach from above and use a pursuit curve to rake the aircraft, causing more damage...

@onimischa A plane can fly without engines but with incendiary rounds shooting the wings (where the fuel tanks are) will be pretty effective and if you blow the wing off.. good luck flying an airplane without a wing.

Just noticed something funny: less than 100% fuel loadout makes the wing tanks empty. I gave the Emilies 100% gas and the wing tanks lit as easily as anything else.
