wow, I just got caught up on your vlogs. Sorry to hear about your family loss. Sounds like you have had some challenges early on with this protocol. It also sounds like you are doing exremely well with watching what you eat. I don't take any supplements other than vit12 and colloid silver. I have some MSM but haven't kept up on taking it everyday. BIG pills to swallow. Not sure about the youtube thing as I have a hard enough time keeping up on here.
Girl, please don't give up on the YouTube. We need everyone we can get vlogging :) It helps so much...even if you don't do one everyday, we still love to see. Better sometimes then never! Hang in there, you're doing great!! Hugsssss!
I use Curry Powder on my meats, as it is a combination of 22 spices and good for you.
I take 1 tsp. of Potassium each day mixed in a cup of water. I get it at the grocery store in the salt section as "SALT SUBSTITUTE" and it is 2400 mg. of potassium. The RDA recommends we get 4500, but that is 45 bananas, and almost no one gets that much. Those tablets have only 99 mg. so they were no good for me to deal with.
I'm taking everything Jenny is taking except the B-12. I really like the MSM too mainly because I have a bad knee and its felt alot better since I started taking that. Getting some of the weight off I'm sure helps too...I noticed the first 2 P2's if I got 8 or more hours I had better losses than 7 or less. This round I'm getting up at 5:30am during the week and probably only getting 6. So sleep is a major factor on this protocol. You are doing great!
thanks for the reponse on the supplements. i was really curious about it all. i'm taking all of those too except for b12 and what is msm? about the fam dinner. it was sooo hard, I just tried keeping my eye on the prize. thanks to all of u, I was able to do it. take care, girl!
MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane, a natural sulfur compound used to ease joint pain, and works to regenerate collagen in the skin. Supposedly, it helps rebuild skin to be more firm and soft. I have noticed my skin become extremely soft and a little more elastic... and my joints feel great, so it seems to be doing the job. I still have excess saggy skin, but I expected that after losing weight so fast.

When I was in P2, I took calcium, magnesium, potassium, MSM (for skin), B-12, and I ate foods rich in Vitamin C... you'll get iron from meat, too.
I ate fresh garlic and onions almost every day as a flavor enhancer for my meats on P2.
Congrats on not gaining during the family dinner! You have some great will-power, girl! Hugs.
