spoke to ur mate when i was at uni (as he was me reading miniworld) showed me this video and it looks immense. did u have to make a custom subframe or bonnet at all?
king booty i was speaking to one of ur mates at uni who showed me this video! and its very impressive my mini has jjust been sat around since i got my new job but havening seen this video im looking at ripping out the 1275 and sticking in a vvc like this. just got to find the money and time aha. did u have to make a custom bonnet or subframe to fit it in?
what a clown, how can anyone say the k series is not a good engine, infact in its day it was a GREAT engine its fair to say rover cant have credit for all of its development, by the way the head gasket problem is partly due to inferior gasket materials rather than the block/head design. as for the mini having "bad sides"....look how old it is and how much it cost to buy you moron! great car by the way, im about to pull my 1340cc for a 16v :-)
@messyt180 rover = shite end of lots of people will testify to that who had to spend a fortune having them fixed i know of two mates now with blown freelanders i wouldn't except an rover engine for free.
@bunsofsteeel ever built an engine or track car yourself? i have and can appreciate the pros and cons, k series pro's far outway the cons, your guna need a few quid to keep up with a decent k mini on the track, especially fun factor. i dont clain rovers were great only in its time the engine was and is very tunable with great potential. remember its an old girl now.

well i had 3 mini's and loved them but they have alot of bad points!!!!! if you have to tune mini's at least put a decent engine in and do it properly!!! THE CAR GOD HAS SPOKEN.
