@Rastloser Yes, it is used in Baldur's Gate in many of the fight scenes (slightly adapted), but it is from Henry Mancini's soundtrack originally. Baldur's Gate I didn't have as complete a soundtrack as the sequel, so it used this and another tune for battles and stuff.

Lifeforce is by no means a masterpiece, but I enjoy it hugely nonetheless. And the music is superb.

It had quite an interesting script.

The sexual angle was a little dumb, but otherwise it was pretty fast-paced and ambitious.

Typical O.K. 80s special effects and great music.

Perhaps the worst movie of the entire twentieth-century. I saw it when it came out. I was twenty. I've never been the same since. Patrick Stewart should be beaten about the head with this at every opportunity.

That having been established, this is awesome music. The great composers of our era worked for Hollywood. It is a tragedy that some of their best work sank with bad movies they were attached to.
