Do u think who owned Angkor Empire? They found more than 1300 inscriptions about Cambodia by using Khmer letters. Parts of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam were in Khmer Empire in Angkor period, So there are Khmer live in those countries.

Khmers did not come into power until 1336. This is sources based on Your own royal records BEFORE nationalists got to them. Khmers lived in the kingdom/empire, but never ruled it. quite obvious by how your genetic make up is made up.

Khmer blood is the most dominant in modern Cambodians. One thing is for sure, this can only happen from the majority gene pool. Khmers were slaves that took Kambuja from 1336 onwards.

The French drew map of VN-L-CPC based on the people, language and administrators of the regions. There are 34 ethnics with different languages in VN including Thais, HMongs, Chinese, Khmer Krom... Some people like Khmer Kroms live near VN-Cambodia border are mixed race and cultures, they are fluent in two languages. They look more like Vietnamese than Cambodians ( Indian looking race), and they are happy to mix with us because I know many of them.

@MsFunan I can read French and from their documents, the South Vietnam was administered by king Bao Dai, there was a Vietnam Gia Dinh citadel, nothing about Cambochia or any visible Cambochians there. Further South the Mekong river was wetlands, pirates hid-out, poisonous snakes. Some people lived near the border spoke two languages that didn't mean the country was their. Stupid argument here. Don't bother me again. BTW, K-Kroms look more Vietnamese than Cambodians, they wear pants, not skirts.

I have known a close friend of mine who is Khmer from South Vietnam. She would like to refer to herself as Khmer Krom. We share many thing together from food to our cultures. She love to eat Pho? and I love to eat Nom Banh Choc. We are good friend and we know a lot about each other history and background. So far I have never hear anything positive from my own people on the true history of my friend people. We know our own history well and why are we turning a blind eyes about it? Please help.

Who liberated khmers from the Japanese and the french? VIETNAM DID! Who stopped Pol Pot from killing all you stupid CUNTbodians? VIETNAM DID! Khmers never fought for their own independence. While the Vietnamese fought the japs and the french to liberate Indochina, you khmers ran into the jungle and hid like monkeys. This comment is directed toward the UNGRATEFUL and STUPID CUNTbodians.
