Thanks for posting this - I went to see the Fenwick's windows every year from being a small child to being 48! But since my mother died I've had no reason to return to Newcastle at Christmas so haven't seen the last two years' displays. I feel happy and sad to see it again and I miss Newcastle - and my mother.

Yes that was Christmas last year 2008.
Fenwick's window makes it feel like Christmas.
