  • @AfterPractice Yeah that's fine if you credit it

  • yes, more views on the power of storm NICE shot!

  • Cool strike...not very close though

  • omgg

  • IoI...everything but not cIose...count the seconds how Iong it needs before the thunder cames and then you know how wide it is away

  • @warlordsho try 50 ft.

  • @hockeyrocks87 2.4 to be exact.

  • ive been closer. <500 ft.

  • Very Nice!

  • superbolt! about 7 return strokes. good lightning

  • nice look at mu video of getting lighting on tape

  • amazing

  • That was a big lightning!

  • Nice shot of the strike but it was around 2 miles away so that wasn't that close. 3 stars.

  • 2400 meters i calculated

  • @MetalUpYourAss4life i calculated 12 seconds. so that is 4 km, not 2.4. and that is 2.4 MILES!

  • the true measure is 1 second = 300 meters

  • @untouchable0050 well, I use miles, but I kno KM. 3= 1km. so, 1= 1/3 km. So 1= 333 1/3 m

  • 3sec=1 KM, 5 sec=1 MI

  • A boring video if you ask me. Nice bolt, but its distant. One star for you,and thats being generous.

  • woh i think we had somthing like that this was so close it scared all of us and my sister started to cry so bad like this was the bigest boom iv ever heard pritty cool:)

  • Awe you must be a fucking idiot huh. 3 miles = 15 seconds dumbass. Try it took 8 seconds after the lightning strike for the thunder to be heard. 5 seconds = 1 miles, so 8 seconds is a little over a mile and a half or 1.5 miles. Now whos the idiot?

  • sorry i meant to say 3 kilometres ok so dont spaz at me again

  • Ok, then I am sry too.

  • martek100, you are not a nice person. YOU DO NOT CALL SOMEONE AN IDIOT IF THEY MAKE A MISTAKE!!!!!! SO YOU ARE THE FOOL TO SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Martek100 your right abt the calculation. but I heard the thunder after 12 seconds. thats 2.4 mi/4km

  • LOOOOOL !! Thats miles away, listen too ur voice.. hahahahah, hilarious :D

  • @fredrik2k3k yeah, it was a bout 3-4 seconds b4 u could hear the sound..

  • That looked awesome at da first part i looks Right in front of ya but then u see the skinE err part and iz still long boot farther away yup gr8 shot.

  • That was cool but it as a way way away I couldnt here the thunder

  • wow...VERY nice capture

  • When i was visiting florida once, and i was out on the deck. then lightning struck from at least 10 yards away. The strike in this video is about 2 miles away.

  • @Diabloz11 HA! my ears are trained for this! I've lived there for 8 years, watching lightning every chance I get. I count and count and now I count involuntarily. that that 2.4 miles away. I heard thunder 12 seconds later. BTW, I've seen lightning strike my neighbors tree while I was outside. Dang it was loud.

  • 1.6 - 1.8 sounds right. The speed of sound is about 761 mph, or 1100 feet/second.

  • 5 seconds = 1 mile on average, so about 1.6-1.8 miles I'd say. Nice capture though.

  • nearly 2 miles..

  • That was about 7 miles away....

  • thats nearly 2 miles away!
