  • Looks like a Princecraft 186 SE Platinum?

  • jeeesh people 100 kPH is 62 MPH....90 KPH is 55 MPH

  • that's insane get a 90hp stroke call it day

  • Isn't 90 km/h like 60-ish mph? I'm raising the BS flag.

  • @DG121480 its around 53 or 55 mph...100km/h is 60...i have an 18 foot cuddy cabbin fishing boat with a 115 hp evinrude ficht from 2003...its the one fixed by bombardier and it pushes me 52 mph with my dad and some stuff in the boat but if i'm alone i gain a few mph and it will go between 54 and 55 mph...it fluctuates

  • That ain't no Verado!

  • @diggyjahn it's a smaller one, they got other design.

  • all u fags comenting ad fighting are fags

  • Noisy.

  • The Verado is the quietest outboard engine on the market.

  • omg evinrude sucks. they dont even have 300's or 350's

  • Well I don't know if they suck but I do know they have a 300hp. But you are right on 1 out of 3 as they do not have a 350hp. And if that is indeed a reason to "suck" then I guess they suck....but I'll bet you swallow lol!!!

  • why do they suck? i haven't heard anything bad about the e-tecs. and btw they DO make a 300hp. a simple visit to their website will show you. thanks for playing though. yamaha's v8 is the only 350hp motor and i've seen that outperformed by plenty of 300hp motors. so not having a 350 is hardly a reason they suck.

  • Your a dumb shit to al though i do agree e-tec is a good engine but mercurys also make a 350

  • Are you fuckin stupid i have a 300 e-tec yes they do have them theres a shit load on utube dumb shit and only merc and yamaha have 350s so what about all the others

  • Didn't realize they had a 350 Verado out now, have yet to see one in existence. I stand corrected there. So nice of you to be so insulting in all your replies though.

  • Sounds like Merc is mixmatch of parts and pieces supplied by the lowest bidder, what a joke...I think I'll stick with an engine manufacturer that actually manufactures the products it sells. Merc is an assembler not a manufacturer and certainly not an innovator like most of the other brands. If they go fast it is because of some other manufacturers hard work and innovation not their own.

  • Thats right, a lot of the parts Mercury makes is infact designed and produced by Tohatsu, Mercury just reads the manual and put it together.

  • Many Mercury motors are made by Yamaha and many by Tohatsu. Til few years ago all the Evinrude and Johnson four stroke was made by Suzuki. This is because the Americans do not know how to build four-stroke.

  • tohatsu are made by mercury. all of them

  • @rangerbass519 no tohatsu makes mercury all the way to 10hp

  • Unfortunately for you, this enginge was built by mercury and NOT tohatsu.

  • Are you stupid evinrude and johnson were never built by suzukis there not even four stroke they were always there own and OMC and BRP

  • evinrude and johnson 4 stroke engines were indeed built by Suzuki, the only changes were obviously the paint job and a different lower unit. 2 of my buddies have 16' Crestliners one with a johnny and one with an evinrude, both built in Japan and almost every part except lower end is interchangable with suzukis,,,

  • @raplamaster03 it's true, here in holland the suzuki 9.9-15hp 4-stroke is the same as the johnson's. but the jonson is white, i havent seen the evinrude 4-stroke here but what i know is that i pass all the 15hp suzu's and johnson's with my mercury 15hp 2-stroke 2003 :P

  • @raplamaster03

Sorry but you are sadly mistaken. Suzuki did in fact make several four-strokes for BRP.

  • Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Evinrude are the best. Tohatsu are quite good as well. Tohatsu also makes many of Mercury's engines.

  • yamaha merc and rude are the best, honda's decent, suzuki sucks

  • true, but suzuki are tied with rude. Their new suzuki 250 SS's top speed was 79mph. And thats on one engine on a bass boat.

  • It really dosent look like a Verado?? Anyways, I do know that whatever the motor is, its sitting on the back of a Princecraft boat.

  • hahaha it's definitely a verado buddy, listen to the sound.

  • I love the way that little engine screams!

    #1 on the water!

  • No e-tec is

  • #2 if you compare it with evinrude.

  • ahahahah yeah rite... keep dreaming you might just wake up with a RUDE awakening!

Last time i looked at racing engines all i saw was Mercury ... actually that's all I see in high class racing engines.... evinrudes are as fast as a rock.. i mean a fast rock. in that order for performance and reliability.

    1 Merc , Yam

    2 Yam, Merc

    3 Rude, John

  • Noicy! Oh well its American... ;o)

  • its better than a japanese piece of shit!!!

  • @WINNIETHEGUINEAPIG: Why then did Merc use Yammi powerheads in their first outboard 4-strokes?

I'll tell you why; they could not make a better one by themselves!

    =)

  • how do u know?

  • a gas motor is not completely quiet at wide open speed dumbass!

  • @WINNIETHEGUINEAPIG who are you, to call someone you've never met a dumbass?

I have used Mercs, Yammis, Suzukis & E-Tecs.

I would bet my last 2 cents on Suzuki for the reliability of a cam chain.

  • this isnt even your video and u answer every question on this page why?

  • that dosent even look like a verado

  • wtf?

  • it just looks like a optimax

  • That's a four cylinder Verado. If you do not believe visit their website.

  • 175 hp ?
