  • Can this be powered via usb?

    How heavy is it?

  • @ric2play No it's not usb powrd and it's very heavy it has usb for using with your computer or as a control keyboard

  • Love Sir Duke! Nice playing.

  • Can someone tell me if this has its own built-in speakers?

  • @EquinoxParadox91 No it doesn't have built in speakers, you have to plug it in to an amp or headphones or something

  • Yes the sound is absolutly Shit, OMG

  • You play great, but sorry, the sound is terrible in my ears..!

  • excuse me sir, what is your opinion of that piano

  • @clipbrowser Hi, I have the same piano, and I am currently doing my grade 8, it is a very nice feel and the sounds are very rich and nice, the only thing is, the keys are slightly too springy and have a plastic feel, but apart from that, the build quality is extremely good and sturdy

  • 3:50

    can't help but noticed

is it a Christian song? cuz i think i might have heard it : )

  • @nptchang121 yes it's shout to the Lord

  • You play great man!!!

    Greetings from Argentine!! (Southamerica) ;)

  • Thanks for taking the time to put this up!

  • It's a gréât job! Tanks man for this demo. Home to see you soon.

  • kind of weird that m-audio hasn't released a new patch / firmware / samples for this awesome keyboard... it's getting a bit old.

  • Awesome man!

  • Oh also does it have built in speakers or not? Thank you.

  • I was wondering, does this piano have sounds built in or do you have to use a vsti in order to hear those sounds? Also can it be used as a midi controller? Thanks. Bassam

  • @bassoomash all of the sounds are on board 2 pianos, 4 elec piano, 1 clav, 2 organs , 2 string pads, 2 bass chorus , reverb split and layer and yes full midi controler options but no built in speakers you need an amp.

  • hi, i have a sono 61 but i don't know how shift to non- onboard voices like drums or strings...can you help me?tnx...GBY...

  • @wynmaful sorry don't know about the sono 61 setup

  • Great keyboard, i've just bought instead of the SP250, i found the touch much better, no regrets !

  • @Cityangel38 i was thinkin about buying the sp250 but now im considering this one as well, do you need any kind of specific soundboard?

  • Comment removed

  • i like how you play, but I find the samples in there horrible. I have it too, but I only use it with mainstage for Akoustik piano.

  • Great playing! Very beautiful! Thank you!

  • Hey, I love this piano but just wondered, What are the keys like, as in are they weighed keys or do they just look like weighted keys but are actually really light?

  • @MrJoshHutchison the keys are hammer weighted action they feel and respond like acoustic piano keys

  • @musmin7 Great! So would you recommend something like this to learn on?

  • @LTDproduction yes but remember you need an amp or head phones to hear it has no speakers

  • @musmin7 Yeah that's fine. I'll either be using it with headphones or with my computer....thanks for the reply!

  • tocas padrisimo

Enseñame tus conocimientos Vasthy garcia como te llamas?

  • You play very good! Your skill is excellent and to be sincere, i always liked colored people playing keyboard: Stevie wonder for example. Your hands deserve to play on the BEST keyboard that exists on our planet, I liked your performance!!

  • @stereobrowser "I always liked colored people playing keyboard"...LoL. Are you from Alabama, or Mississippi? Ignorance is NOT bliss.

  • 4 : 00 worship :DDD

  • my favorite part is when you go into the E-harmony song.

  • What an awful sound. You sure dropped the ball when you did not direct record. If this piano sounds remotely like the video, then this keyboard is just another typical keyboard.

  • you play way to good for that crapy keyboard :P

  • does the keys make the loud clicking sounds when pressed?

  • Why do not you record directly? Sound recording is terrible.

  • @MegaMikako check out my what's going on guitar vid it's recorded direct on there

  • have you tried using it as a midi controller for vsts if so how well it responds?

  • @pcpaulius yes I use it in the studio and it works fine

  • Would you recommend this to use of orchestral virtual instrument?

  • you did a really good job!

  • do you have to use speakers, or are the build in???

  • @MrBjoe0810 no onboard speakers you need an amp

  • how is the touch of this keyboard? More like a keyboard or digital piano. It says it has weighted keys but how does it feel playing it?

  • @payette great feel very close to acustic piano

  • i loved that stevie wonder tune ;)

  • Hi, I have a question. Does it have any brass sounds? Thanks

  • @jcbyessin no brass I went through all the onboard sounds on the demo

  • I thought this keyboard had every sound according to general midi

  • @Penguindog55 no it can be used as a controller board for modules or pc with gen midi

  • I have that keyboard and It's a blessing, It's wonderful!

  • lol, this MIDI controller doesn't have it's own sounds.

  • @tranceemerson this is not the controller it's the digital piano all the sounds you hear are onboard. they do put out a controller that's 88 keysand looks simular.

  • hi, is this piano touch sensitive as in if you hit it hard its loud and if you hit it soft its quiet. a responce would be very helpful.

    excellent piano skills btw!

    thanx

  • @Missedsignal yes the keyboard is velocity sensitive with three velo / curves

it's a hammer action keyboard with an excellent acustic piano feel.

  • whats the name of this piece? or is it all improvised?

  • @sebastian30000 I played several pieces on this some improvised some not

  • I want one of these so bad.

EAlso, loving the stevie at 3:16 :D xx

  • TALENT!

  • so, if i had this keyboard, would i ONLY need some speakers to get sound from it?

  • you kneed a powered speaker / keyboard amp to produce the sound.

  • yes.....iu think so ...i have 1 keypro 88...but its dfif needs to get on pc

  • OMG dude you look just like me like with all honestly you look exactly like my father

  • Hi i have a 88 m audio keyboard and want to buy an adapter but i dont know which one to buy:

--Panasonic PQLV1E Adaptor UK input 9VDC 500MA output

    ---Panasonic KX-TCA1E Adapter 9VDC 350mA UK.

the only difference is the output does this matter?

  • Nice demo; thanks for sharing.

  • CANTA AL SEÑOR!!!! HIllsong!!!

    god bless!

  • My son bought an M-Audio Stage piano...used at home only. One by on the lamps faded...also a couple of notes malfunctioned (Under warranty)...so I don't know about this 88SX piano? But...Yamaha have had problems with their light weight NP30...according to customer reviews!

  • which model did your son have this one is the pro keys 88 weighted digital piano.

I have had it for well over a year now with no problems and there is no comparison to the comparison to the NP-30 my church has one of those and it's not weighted nor does the sound compare but again it's no expexted to be a pro insturment. the prokeys 88 can hold it's own in the price group nothing can touch it for the price and features and sound quality for 600.00 bucks

  • @musmin7 hello, im thinking of buying one of these but saw your comment you said this piano is "weighted", what does that mean?

  • piano weighted keys have the same action and feel as an acustic piano not a synth or organ feel it simulates the weight of the hammer throw on a real piano.

  • oh alright thanks!

  • Hi musmin7, Great demo. Your talent is obvious in this demo, the gift of music is a blessing indeed (and a lot of hard work, I am sure) I am a guitar player starting piano lessons with a simple aim of being able to accompany a song. I aim to spend around 700 bucks so am looking at the Pro-keys vs Casio digital home piano from Costco or a more expensive Yamaha digital home piano. Would value your comments. Thanks.

  • I bought the prokeys 88 because it met the needs I had at the time I like it for what I do draw backs heavy , no onboard speakers pros I like the sound not great but it's good I use it in the studio and live at chuch no problems have had it for over a year use it every week.

two main things you want to gauge is playability you need weighted keys and sound quality I didn't need a board with 1000 sounds I have those I just wanted a simp digital piano . You might want to check out the casio px320

  • also you may want to check out the yamaha p85 still in the same price range.

the main thing is to go into the music store and play them if you can listen through amps and headphones. remember to turn the volume to max to check the sound sample as well as very low to see if it's the same

pray this helps let me know how you make out be blessed

  • If you expect it to sound like a 3 grand sample then stop fooling yourself it sounds like a 600 dollar piano keyboard that is very usable.

I hope this will help the people who always leave neg comments because they are looking to get somthing for nothing instead of looking at a product for what it is and the level of quality that can be expected from simipro to pro gear.

  • as I stated in the write up on this clip it wasn't the best sound redording

I sugest listening to some of the other clips like total praise also recorded with the flip camera but in the studio thru the monitors and My guitars clips which was recorded direct on what's going on.

  • It sounds awful, sounds like cheap radio shack casio. I wonder if this device play real Grand Piano though.

  • that's because the video has major clipping.

  • Your an excellent piano player, awesome songs dude, sorry I just don't like M-Audio products..........

  • comments and opinions welcome but I Put these reviews up to help people decide on a product and you also need to concider the price range and what it might be used for.

I've had and still have much better digital pianos than this one but I bought this for the price point and a particular purpose that it works fine for.

I am a lover of roland digitals for my production work.

    thanks for the comment.

  • Get a Yamaha P-series piano, better feel, better warranty, better sounds, built in speakers, better built period!!!

M-Audio is utter crap including their flagship Pro-Tools!!!

Everything made by M-Audio is total Crapola'

  • hey, I really liked this

    I want to busk.

Do you think that this is a suitable piano, and will I need an Amp.

    An feedback would be appreciated.

    :)

    M

  • this is a nice piano for the cost. it has a good sound that can be talored with eq to suit your taste. It does not have onboard speakers so yes you will need an amp with it . It will not give you the ultra brite cutting sounds of todays piano samples but a more realistic acustic sound . It's not the greatest piano sample but for the money it's pretty darn good I use it for gospel, jazz , r&b and it works fine.

can't beat it for a full wieghted 88 note digital piano in this price range

  • Stevie Wonder - I Wish

    Very Nice!!!

  • Your do you believe that there is pas similar to a royal(real) piano?

  • please tell me what pas means in english

  • lovely :)

    i like your playing

  • How do the keys feel compared to the yamaha motif?

  • I have not played the 88 key motif only the synth keys but I belive the motif Keys are a little stiffer but I do like the way the keys feel on this board.

  • how do i put more voices on it? btw good playing

  • how d i put more sounds in it? i have it but i dunno how to put them on. btw great playing

  • you can't put more internal soounds on the rom but it can be used as a controller for another external sound module which can give you the other sounds you may need

  • I Hope You Find The Name Of The Song, 'Cause I'm Learning To Play The Piano, And I Think That Song Is Very Good To Practice.. Sounds Good.. Thanks 4 The Answers!

  • The First One. Start At 0:14.. Thanks For Answer!

  • I don't really know the song title it's a song that my band plays for a bop style dance at gigs (not ours just a cover).

but I will try to find the actual title we just had a recording to learn it from and called it the bop song we didn't have the artist or title if I find it I will let you know

  • What It's The Name Of The Song? Please Tell Me!

  • which part are you refering to at what time code?

  • wooohooooww, stevie wonder power! great keys and play

  • cool!

  • А что тут говорить... +5, класно =))

  • sounds veryx groovy....great !

  • de la tres bonne interpretation!!

  • thanks I also like your interpetation of little wing great playing man

  • how do the keys feel?what do you think about it? do you recommend it?

  • The keys have an good feel, not the absolute best hammer action but I think they would satisfy most pianist. They are not to heavy but def not light. If you are looking for basic piano sound and some good e-pianos and strings yes I recomend it. It won't give you that super excited brite cutting sound like you find on most of todays synths.

the sound you hear on the recording is coming from a small powered monitor it sounds much better coming though my pa sys in stereo.

    hope this helps

  • even though i didnt ask that question, thanks =) i would have =P

  • Bravo! Added to favorites.

  • Nice songs, I have the same stage piano and I love its sounds, blessings from Chile.....

  • Excellent playing, man!! Very useful demo, thanks :-)

  • i love it

  • Nice!! sounds very real!! I'll Buy one soon!! I like it this piano xD!!
