  • This Video was pretty good. I little fuzzy at time but none the less it was very helpful. Thanks.

  • Oh my god! Why did you tell us about the film at the end? I have replaced the screen myself and then found this video. I thought "wow! there's a film that I forgot to remove" so I disassembled the psp again thinking that without this film the screen will be even better. BUT HEY! There was no film on my new screen... "just find the corner" well I did! But it was a polarized film that makes a picture visible and it's glued to the screen really hard. But it was too late when I realized that fact...

  • @if it doesn't look like protective film then it most likely isn't. further more if it doesn't come off easily or is very difficult to find, most likely it isn't protective film either

  • If you have questions try pming me also check the faq video first before you ask because a lot of what you ask is in there.

  • I was just doing it and somehow the little slip on the broken lcd screen took the little connecting flap with the black top off, is it ruined or is there a way I can reconnect it/glue it on? I knew I couldn't do this myself damn...

  • yes! i'm gonna order my screen from ebay today for only $20 and i have to do this myself ( the electronics repair cost $80 for a new screen and to install it RIPOFF)so when it comes saturday, i have to watch this vid so i won't mess anything up

  • what kind of screwdriver did you use?

  • thank you

  • I get the screen directly from SHARP who is the manufacturer for most psp screens in CHINA =D

  • @spyx1007: is the lcd screen you bought made by Sony?

  • ey man same exact thing happened to my psp stupid cheap ass psps i fukin swear there bad quality screens

  • Thank you very much for the in depth tutorial. It took FOREVER to unscrew the psp (they had a white substance holding some of the screws secure), no foam or plastic sheet (Didn't want to pick at and break the LCD) covering my $21 DX screen either. :)

  • hey there are stickers over the screws behind the battery, any good ways to get them off, w/o scratching the psp?

  • Comment removed

  • @xXSgofyyahXx they are the same. the variation in the number doesnt mean much because it just indicates the region it was marketed to.

  • sry if i cant help you find a good place to get a screen, i used to get mine in large quantities from a manufacturer in china. if i get enough interest i will reopen my website where you can buy screens from me via the site, ebay,or amazon

  • whats a recommended place for buying the replacement screen?

  • Thanks I didnt watch this to replace my screen just to clean it from the inside I just dont know how dust gets in there but any way thanks

  • @luisandjesus good to hear that it still helped =)

  • did you find a metal bar marked F2 and where does it go?

  • @makahback yea. This psp lost it a while ago because it's screen cracked a few times due to user faults. XP but yea it goes above your new screen. it doesn't really do much because if you closed it properly it would hold the top of the screen in place anyway

  • @spyx1007 Thanks for the quick reply and excellent instructions.

  • @makahback no prob. like, subscribe. if you need help fixing anything send me a request and I'll upload tutorials

  • @spyx1007 Thinking of doing my ps3 repair now..lol.. It shuts down as soon as its powered up. Subscribed!

  • and still left my screen all blank.... again

  • heeeeey! i was trying to take the sticker off like you did at 7:33 but i think i removed the other layer of the sticker that made my screen all sticky and lots of lines of stopping to rest on the sticker because it was so hard to remove.

  • Great instructions. Thanks!!

  • Thank you !!!!
