  • i LOVE MY DENMAN BRUSH

  • I don't understand what you're trying to convey. Is this a good product or what?

  • i got mine at ulta nd im super excited to use it! if idoesnt work ill try sallys

  • the denman just isn't for everybody. i know it's a waste for me.

  • Which brushes are best for detangling and defining curl?? The D3, D4, D31, or D41?? PLEASE reply quickly. Thanks!! :-D

p.s. I believe my hair type is 3c/4a, majority being 4a..

  • I have denman freeflow which I think is similar to the D4. I use it to blow dry my hair. It can be used on natural hair. The teeth in this brush is wide spaced which in my opinion makes it a good brush to detangle my hair. I would suggest you wattch a few vidoes on detangling hair, try them out before purchasing the D3 or D4.

  • You mention that you like the D4 what is the difference between the D3 and the D4?

  • I love the denman brushes and have been using them for over 35 years. When I had natural hair in my teens and now. I use a three types of Denman brushes the D31, the large paddlebrush and the freeflow. All three brushes can be used to blow dry natural and relaxed hair. I have been able to reduce my use of hair straightners and now can get dead straight hair by blow drying my hair with my Denman freeflow brush.

  • So the D31 is widder so it's not putting as much stress on the hair. Does this version detangle better then a wide tooth shower comb or is it the same?

  • @mishsamuels paddle brushes like the jojoba infused goody brush are widely spaced and they detangle my hair better than a widetooth comb. All these brushes detangle better than a wideteeth comb.

  • It takes longer to get out the tangles with a wideteeth comb because there is only one row.

  • im getting the denman d1431 freeflow which has 5 rows and it is widely spaced.Denman d31 freeflow has 7 rows.

  • if you go to: denman brush dot com you can see the diffrences

  • bewteen the brushes and you can click on the pics to see it bigger....i just order from this site.

  • amazon usa sells these brushes too but us canadians can't buy stuff like that from amazon usa.....

  • I'm confused....i don't know whether to buy it or not, there are so many mixed reviews here and this video did not help me either, no offense, lol. :)

  • i'll take a conair brush for 2.99!

    lmao!

    and i love it!

  • i have the same and its great

  • My 4a/4b hair is not meant to be combed/brushed, learned that the hard way

  • @KMELIZ21 how do you know what kind of hair you have

  • This video doesn't make sense to me. Do you like the Denman or not??

  • She likes the Denman D41 I believe which is like a wide toothed version of the Denman D31 tha she doesn't like.

It apparently works better on wet natural hair.

  • Oh okay. Thanks for clearing that up. That sucks though, because the D3 is the one I bought, lol. Hopefully after my BC, it'll do well.

  • @CuddlyBubbles1 You guys missed the point. She/he was poking fun at naturals who use the Denman, hence the quotation marks. Take a look at the other videos.

  • i paid 8 dollars and think i bought the wong one for my hair:(

  • ITA with naturalbeauty3 on this one! When I first bought my Denman D3 I must say I LOVED it! It really cut through my tangles like butter and there was very little hair in the brush when done. I mean, VERY LITTLE. I have kept my hair short (twa and/or 3 to 3.5in of growth by choice (meaning trimming or cutting off not to retain length) for a few yrs. Now, I've decided to grow it out (no cutting!) and using the Denman is still great but adding fingercombing alternately has done wonders!

  • I so use a knock off.....It looks just like the Denman except its by annie and it works WONDERS!

  • yeah i use those for my natural hair but the brushes teeth are way to small, that would pull kinky hair out. these brushes are for other kinds of hair.

  • I just the watched the vid that states if you use the D41 Denman, the teeth are spaced further apart, and aids in curl definition. I think you got the wrong size! See the vid...choosing a denman by kinky hairblog...

  • I love it. The thing is you can't use it all the time. I alternate between finger combing and using the denman. It's really good at defining curls.

  • Denman's ok. i dont HAVE to have it. I prefer not to use a comb that often.

  • I luv my denman brush 4LYFE!!!! its going to the grave with me! :)

  • Never tried and I don't think I ever will! My 4a hair can't take that kind of brush. I was using a brush for the past two years and I had little to no shedding with it....Unfortunately that brush has disappeared somehow... Bout another one, but it just ripped the hair out of my scalp!

  • I can take it or leave it .

  • not really

  • Loving my Denman!!!

  • nah..more like denman hate over here lol.

  • Man, my 4b self is in LOVE with the Denman. Yes, indeed, it rocks my world. Keep the vids coming! I'm loving them.

  • Love the vid!

  • The Denman: An underground conspricy created by the Creamy Crack-heads to discorage the Natural Wonders. The Denmans motto: IF all goes right, they'll go running back to the Creamy Crack.

  • YES! you uploaded it again! LMFAO! I hate the denman.
