If anyone has perused over Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope", they would know why this guy is about "perfectly fit" for president as it may be humanly possible. Let me state the obvious: America is living in momentous times domestically and transnationally. I respectively agree with conservatives and some democrats that experience is an attribute that cannot be replaced. But my reply is one that often unexpectedly strikes them. Which is more important...experience or clear judgment?

The worth of a union varies greatly with each individual union. Many provide outstanding service to their members, some just slide by on the accomplishments of other unions. Check your contracts against local, state and federal requirements of employers.

This is the kind of leader I want. I'm cynical about how any politician, no matter how sincere, will be able to overcome this horribly rigged system where the fix is in daily, but I'm gonna pray that this guy can pull it off. With the most important sea change likely in our lifetimes -- affordable and renewable energy available to all -- we just might see a shift in our nation's priorities from junkies who'll do anything to get the fix, to a country which is high on living right.

I think the average person should be doing two things -

1. Encouraging others to become educated about the issues (not the spinning of facts)

2. Reminding people to register to vote. There are too many people who want to vote, but often forget to register or put it off to the last moment.

Unions are great. However, costs and salaries incurred by union leaders should be evaluated. Unions can also put companies out of business because of their insatiable demands.
