  • Fine ragtime by a very mysterious guitar hero. Bayless Rose may actually be named Bailey Rose. He may be a "Melungeon". This was an Appalachian group with African, European, and Native American ancestors. He may have been from West Virginia and he may have traveled around working on railroads.
