Of course, can't start my opinion on the song without crediting BioWare and the rest of the team for introducing me for the song via Mass Effect 1's OST (song that plays during the end scene and credits).

With that said, I'm strictly (no hate to other genre's) a hip-hop and rap fan with a bit of R&B, Jazz and Soul, but this song is incredible. Credit the Faunts for paving a path for me to explore and possibly become a fan of the electrock genre. Keep churning out the great music!

The Keepers are based on the crabs; It represents the Keepers' ability to evolve & make their own decisions due to the collective neoteric ability shown by various races to fight & survive.

Upon receiving the mssg from the Reapers, few evolved Keepers fight the rest of the "indoctrinated" Keepers and help. The Seagulls are the Reapers who destroy all Keepers in the end, but the Keepers have still managed to help /]

The crab stands atop the sandcastle, protecting the flag which is a symbol for everything the crab stands for, from other crabs which are identical to him, the only thing separating them from him is the determination he puts in, and when it is taken from him, he gets it back while the castle is destroyed by an unstoppable force, he still bears the flag, and places it on the ruins of the castle, becuase even though everything he had has been destroyed, he will stand proud, until death.
