Guy, I know this is an old performance, but you sound great. As someone else said, this particular performance may not have been technically correct, but your sense of musicality is terrific. It single handedly saved the piece (because that's what music is about, I think-- being musical?). I doubt the audience knew the flubs that happened-- you covered them well.
You're probably even better by now! What a force!
(PS. Find a new pianist, mostly because of the interludes, especially 3:24-3:33)
Nice and pretty accurate. Bravo. BUT do you realize how wonderful your pianist is? Never forget to acknowledge them...especially this one. Otherwise very nice!
As a flute player myself, I admit I've grown somewhat tired of this piece. So many young people play (and butcher) it! It's a powerhouse concerto, full of technical bravura and brilliance.
But your performance was awesome! Instead of sounding mechanic, you put serious thought in presenting your own artistic interpretation. This performance isn't perfect technically--but it's superbly interesting and engaging.
I lived in Denmark twice. in Odense and in Silkeborg. I was suposed to study a the Royal academy but I decided to stay in Israel for another year or two.
Will visit my Grandma in Silkeborg quite soon though.

Really great job! I've just begun working on this myself, so I'd love to see performances of the second and third movement if you have them. :-)
