  • you ruined the music :(

  • I love it wen you said "NO MORE MIX'D UP MUSIC!" HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!:DLOL!

  • I don't know why, but this song reminds me of mario sunshine... good times...

  • If a robot does the roboR, is it called the Robot or is it just dancing?

  • I like this place for one reason.........the randomly appearing Beady Long-Legs. Haha, that thing used to fall out of the sky and it would scared me EVERY time. Hahah, I love my childhood.

  • The Perplexing Pool is so... perplexing!

  • the most beautiful pool and the best music in the game.

but this awesome place have a mini infierno call: Submerged castle

  • The word "Perplexing" has my name in it.

  • @gamergirl478 Lexi

  • @supergalaxy911 yep.^ ^

  • @gamergirl478 Perplexing IS my name! Just kidding, but sometimes it seems like it should be...

  • @Pengoie1 Uhh...what do you mean?

  • @gamergirl478 I'm basicly saying that I'm quite confusing.

  • I'm 20 years old, been playing Nintendo consoles for the last 12 or so. I've never played Pikmin but this song is really awesome. I'm going to track both of them down in the near future.

Shigeru Miyamoto truly is a genius at gaming.

  • @Reaper679 I should track them down right now if i were you, especially pikmin 2, the games are pretty rare now.

  • if you played pikmin before to play pikmin 2, you will remember this level too much

  • At 0:06 is when it gets really epic, or at least in my mind.

    I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • 3:47

  • i love this song

  • When I hear this I think of Poshley Heights from Paper MArio: TTYD

  • @DeathMan351 strange but yeah kinda yaaay Pennington

  • @DeathMan351 Strange because Chapter 6 is my favorite chapter from TTYD and the Perplexing Pool is my favorite area in Pikmin 2. Both songs are good and my favorite parts of each game.

  • AHH I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! but it only makes me think of one thing....

    WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOLLLLYYYYYYYWWWWWOOOOOOGGGGGSSSSSSSS >.<

  • 3:48 + RainyMood

  • I know my way around perplexing pool after playing the game 5 times in a row!!

  • me:ok blues let's see what is over here

    *see's electric gate*

    me:FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • at least here is no smoky progg

  • @roshipower Or is there?

    OH GOD HE'S RIGHT BEHI-

  • @roshipower Too bad, who is richy now? :(

  • Ugh! Perplexing pool is filled with wolly wogs EVERYWHERE! I hate them! And on top of that, you can get lost because of how huge it is! Its like, all you need are blues to get through, but the wolly wogs are so tough to take out with blues..

    Grrrr.

  • Forest of Hope/Awakening Woods was the easiest to tell. Infact it says it in game. This was also easy to tell, Distant Spring and Perplexing Pool being the same, but it was harder to see. And the Impact Site and the Final Trial make up the Wistful Wild. Valley of Repose and the Forest Navel do not make any link or appearence.

  • I dont like the the perplexing pool D:, its pretty and all but its filled with danger everywhere, anything can happen here! xD Though i really love its theme.. <3

  • ... I liked the mixed up music D:

  • This somehow reminds me of Metroid Prime.

  • @WritersBlah No, the Final Trial is part of the Wistful Wild. A few people have a theory that the Valley of Repose is the Forest Navel, but the two look nothing like each other.

  • Of all the levels, I think the one where its easiest to tell that it is a level from Pikmin 1 evolved, is this level, Perplexing Pool with Distant Spring. Wistful Wild CAN be recognized as the Impact Site, and to a certain extent, Awakening Wood can be recognized as Forest of Hope, although its a bit harder to tell. So Valley of Repose is...the Final Trial?

  • Ha ha, my favorite level! Thanks for uploading this.

  • on what day can you begin killing the beady longlegs that appears in the "bulls-eye" you see as soon as you leave base?

  • @person11221122

i thinkk it is automaticaly after 3 days without visiting the perplexing pool or something. it often comes if it has been long since last time

  • it said in Olimars journal that perplexing pool is distant spring except a little more evolved

  • pikmin thr(W)ii?

  • Chuggaaconroy used this in his Okami playthrough during a fast forward section :D!

  • @WootmansayWOOT I think it was in one of his 3 year anniversary videos. Still, can't wait for Chugga to release the first episode of Pikmin 2 today.

  • @TrueMario101

    He already did. :D

  • @AbeX300 I use a bitter spay and kill them with purples. takes care of dwarves, too.

  • Man its gonna be hard for them to top the soundtrack in pikmin 3!!

  • @doorknob8774 Have you ever SEEN that thing?!?!? only purple pikmin can kill it, it can possibly kill ALL 100 PIKMIN IN ONE HIT, and it can go up very steep slopes, speccificly the one that leads to your base, so yes it can invade your weak spot, and that hole that activates beady long legs is passed over almost EVERY time you carry back a treasure or an enemy, so you'll be dealing with all FREQUENTLY. not to be mean or anything, but just NO!

  • @thepotatoman1171 I believe that the water wraith is the adult form of the smoky progg. Talking about that, They should bring that back in the next game.

  • @spikespeed125 in the end of pikmin 1, it says the mahuita is the adult form of the smoky progg. and yes, i do think they should bring back the progg as an optinal boss. its just that the spot where beady long legs falls is so easy to hit, you would have the deal with the waterwraith very often

  • I remember playing this game on the wii, and I heared this buzzing noise.I thought there was somthing wrong with my wii, It only happeded in this area & then I found out that it was part of the music!!!

  • @doorknob8774 NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!! That would make this place un-playable!

  • Somebody has a problem with mixed up music...

  • fucking vegetable-humans are ftw

  • I love the third one that is really simple, a

  • love it

  • pikmin 2 has some of the best game music i have ever heard! and yet its so underrated

  • i like and dislike this song because it starts to relax me and then i start remember when bulbear is coming

  • I like it when it gets hectic fighting enemies.

  • What program do you use to record music from games?

  • AH MAN WHERE ARE THE CROSS OUTS ON THE BOX ART LOL

  • @supersaiyan12234 They're for pikmin 1 music.

  • popcorn.

  • i love this theme did u upload wistful wild?

  • Heheh.

I actually looked for beady long legs every few days in-game XD

    PELLETS! <3

  • @ZombieMushmom Me too, I think he only appears there every 10 days or so

  • @ZombieMushmom Did you start after day 30?

  • @jpeanut97

Sorry, it's been so long since I played the game that I don't remember. Maybe. .-.

I was looking for one of the last treasures I was missing from Perplexing Pool, then I found it o_o

  • @ZombieMushmom what was it, I'm having trouble with aboveground PP treasures. Glutton's kitchen was fun though. :D

  • @jpeanut97

    Ohhh, umm..

I don't remember what exactly the treasure WAS, but it involved balancing pikmin on those rocks in order to reach it.. and it was surrounded by water and stuff. Kind of annoying unless you clear out all the enemies x_x

  • @ZombieMushmom uh-huh. Not to change the subject but I'd like to say that breadbugs might be cannibals. I was in snack pit, I killed a breadbug, than another breadbug, not the giant one, was dragging the body away. Same thing happened in Glutton's kitchen, but the breadbug was dragging the giant breadbug's body away.

  • I hate when I start listening to this song, and then I start to wander the stage and Beady Long Legs falls out of the sky and gives me a heart attack.

  • Popcorn? LOL

  • Is it me or this song reminds me of a walk in a humid forest when it's all sunny and the crickets do their sounds?

  • no school!!!!

  • i think this is my favorite pikmin 2 music

  • @AbeX300 I KNOW! I HATE THEM!

  • I LOVE THIS MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!! PIKMIN 2 MY LIFE!!!

  • This music sounds sort of like walking through a rain forest on a sunny day.

  • This music is so relaxing. It's one of the reasons the Perplexing Pool was so much fun to explore. :3

  • i hated those long leg monsters, mostly the machine gun one, come on though, a spider from the future? i wonder what we all do if we saw a spider like that in real life, run or just step on it

  • @WizeDemon I dunno, I mean, it DOES have a machine gun strapped to it...

  • @WizeDemon Depends on how big we are in comparisin.

  • @jpeanut97 Well Olimar is around size of a 50 pence coin... spider is like 3 times his size

  • olimar: lets go pikmin!

    *beady long legs lands*

    olimar: HOLY ****!

  • i want to know were that even comes from!?!?!

  • I want to learn this on the piano so bad.

  • I do too!

  • @TheSkyClan I figured out Perplexing pool on the piano. :D

  • @TheSkyClan I might be able to make a sheet music for u... ill send it to u in an Email. just tell me if u want the normal, Fighting, or nighttime version. i guess it could be all 3...but itd take longer

  • @TheSkyClan It's actually really easy to play....

  • perhaps the red zig-zaggy line would help... and spell check.

  • I like the zig zaggy lines and I dont want to get rid of them though! D=

  • lol too funny... same my spell check don't work )-: lol backwards... My right click failz tat is why perhaps

  • @spikespeed125 wha?

  • @jpeanut97 Look at the spelling mistake in the description. Apparently perplexing pool is actually distant spring. I looked in the pikmin wika XD.

  • @spikespeed125 Yeah, and Awakening woods= forest of hope.

  • @jpeanut97 And Impact Site + Final Trial = Wistful Wild

  • @spikespeed125 but Vally of repose =/= Forest naval.

  • @jpeanut97 Could be. I can never see the resemblance though.

  • @spikespeed125 No, take a look around. it's completely different.

  • @jpeanut97 Thats what I mean. It looks nothing like Forest naval.

  • Distand Spring??? DISTAND SPRING??? CURSE YOU TYPING THAT FAILS!!! meh heh heh

  • Sounds like science music mixed in with a beautiful day tune.

  • This level was the most intriguing of all of them, the old and new versions. I really felt like there was more to explore than the other levels.

  • When i was young, I used 2 be scared 2 go here cause of Beady Long Legs

  • Comment removed

  • eh, perplexing pool isn't as bad as it's old version of it's self, the distant spring

  • @GreenGitTV submerged castle

  • @gamemaster761 fgghsfj the waterwraith was the worst unless you knew exactly where to hide

  • @GreenGitTV Yeah, no Smoky Proggs at least

  • @GreenGitTV ever meet the ghost pickle in the distant spring, i hate that thing.

  • @GreenGitTV i read your comment listened to distant spring and your right

  • This song is so relaxing. Anybody get what I mean?

  • This level was a nightmare in both games...

Catchy music, most definitely, but quite a nightmare.

  • Why the thumbs-down?! It was! At least, the Waterwraith was!

Maybe the rest wasn't so bad and I was only thinking of the waterwraith... maybe I'm just too paranoid about water.

  • I agree with you in the first game i went crazy and killed all my pikmin in distant spring cause all this stuff came at me at once and i didnt know what to do!! :[

  • Songs that play here: Citadel of Spiders: Citadel of Spider Burnt Burrow Hangout Hole Glutton's Kitchen: Glutton's Kitchen Railroad Room Ramp Room Giant Breadbug Shower Room: Shower Room Jelly Float Pool Submerged Castle: Submerged Castle
  • there are other reasons that we hate this place it has alot of enimies ,lots of obstacles to get the treasure

  • that too

  • The music and the perplexing pool are awesome !

PS: The perplexing pool is the distant Spring in Pikmin 1

  • I loved this music! but I hated the leval... Because there is a cave that belongs to the WATERWRATH!!!!!

  • The place's History:

At first it was a wetland. in Spring. When Olimar came back, he found out the place turned to Summer, and some things like Sinks crashed or emerged from the surface. In this part of Summer, the Bulbears awake from hibernation.

  • AUGH. This place is pretty but what I hated about it was the Submerged Castle. Stupid Waterwraith. Dropping down outta nowhere and making me panic. ;3;

  • gotta love that piano

  • Can't you seperate the sundown and enemies? i would just like to hear the part from 0:00 to 1:19

  • mixed up music hurt mah head...

    *passes out*

  • I really like how this area changed since the first game, like how it's kind of changed from a bright spring to a shaded, rainforest-type summer. The Spotty Bulbears have come out of hibernation, etc etc.

  • Excuse me, does anyone know how to find each part of these tunes separately?

I mean no disrespect, but it's all chopped up :c And I hoped to use it in a game level

  • you too i use pikmin music in my lp vidieos and im not sure

  • Try ymmot392's Perplexing Pool music. It's separate.

  • Lots of unexpected things happen when you arrive here at some times, like the Invasion of the Spotty Bulbear? And the Beady Long Legs at the front part of the stump?

  • ther are still bulbear around, basicly wen you leave to your home planet for like a day alot changes i gusse

  • I presume it was more than a day.

  • ya it probly is

  • 2000 years

  • wth i wonder how long it took olimar to get bak

  • The main differences and similarities of Perplexing Pool and Distant Spring:

Ever notice the black stone wall at one corner was replaced by a bridge? And did you notice the wall near a wetland protecting the Zirconium rotor? It was replaced by an electric fence.

  • the best theme of pikmin 2 ever

  • I just figured out why the Pikmin don't have genders!

The onion produces Pikmin anyway, so when you think about it, Pikmin are 'Its'. Not hes ore shes. But the onion has to rely on pikmin carrying food back to the onion to carry out the species...

  • u just noticed it now

  • No, i was just saying that cause i had the idea, because not many people know why. Well, is it obvious now?

  • o ya i new it as soon as i encountered them

  • Love this place just as much as The Distant Spring. Has anyone noticed that they're so similar in appearance?

  • Well, apparently it IS. But how could it change so drastically over the DAY Olimar wasn't on the planet?

  • Man I cant believe I wasted an entire day just to see some Pikmin sit in a tree!!!!

Also I think this level is just the distant spring, infact its almost exactly the same, certain parts of the level are taken directly from the distant spring, same with Forest of hope and awakening woods

  • Wait...you watched the pikmin in that tree FOR A DAY? (15 mins lol)

  • It took me that long to get to the tree

  • hah, it did for me too when i played this game for the first time...

  • Not only that but i got confused as to why they were now immune to electricity whilst they werent in the old game, in the first game they could carry bomb rocks

  • Well, there was no electric grid in the first one.

  • because no pikmin was thunder resistant

  • @Leekduck Wow, just... wow.

  • Popcorn

  • Louie: Once the debt is repaid, my plan will be complete!

  • I misread it and saw "Perplexing poof"

    Lulz

  • so I just got up to this level today and I was nooo its the Distant Spring all over again *grumble*

  • The beginning, when the piano kicks in, sounds like music on a nature documentary when it's zoomed in on a leaf that's dripping a dewdrop in the sunrise. :D

  • I agree! I still hav this game but its a bit scratched and my gamecube won't play it so now I hav to wait for a Wii!

  • E- Pik music xD

  • ok either im crazy or this sounds like the music from paper mario thousand year old door chaoter 7 in the train!!

  • Ya mean chapter 6, and nope, not to me

  • then im crazy with this game

  • @CaptOlimar What's this? Uploading a kick-ass game soundtrack? Oh..and you've played Paper Mario? Subscribed.

  • @TheGradeGuys Yes, it does. The high piano notes do.

  • @Supermariofan14 True,

  • This music reminded me of the time where i freaked out when a beady long legs just popped out in front of my close to the onions!! :O

  • I got it figured out!

Valley of Repose = Forest Naval

Awakening Wood = Forest of Hope

    Perplexing Pool = Distant Spring

Wistful Wild = Impact Site + Final Trial =D

  • Wouldn't it be weird if astronauts found a planet that was just like the Pikmin world and had all of its creatures?

  • Awesome! I'd go live there myself =D,

    if I wouldn't be eaten! 8O

  • Just build yourself a massive house. not even a bulborb will walk into that. xD

  • just dont leave the door open

  • I'd keep a blue pikmin as a pet

  • Why not an army? >:D *builds a mini Area 51 for my Pikmin armies*
