  • Just found this LP in my local record store. I was so happy when I found it i yelled "FUCK!" really loudly and everyone looked at me. Also Pezband, Rubinoos, and Crabby Appleton LPs.

  • True Power Pop at its finest here.

  • Loved this song back in the day. I agree that a CD reissue is in order!

  • never issued on cd :-(

  • @jamesnadam So hard to believe- life can be so unkind! I wonder why it hasn't been released on CD via smaller label, one dedicated to power-pop?!

  • Where can I find some Bram Tchaikovsky videos? Were any ever made? Help!!!

  • facelesshorseman, I would be happy to have it on vinyl. It was on my turntable and it melted in the sun. I loved these guys. I saw them in Chicago in 79 or so. Great group. The only way I can hear them is on youtube. Thanks for youtube!!!

  • I love the way he takes an almost "Ticket to Ride" riff into totally different territory.

There was something almost soothing about this band compared to it's contemporaries. Few knew how to, or wanted to, explore the groove like these guys.

    Great driving music.

  • Brilliant album...Have it on vinyl, but can't find it on cd anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

  • do a google search its out there ive seen it(on disc)

  • Go to the Heavy Metals Kids website. They have it.

Can't put link here as Youtube are blocking links

  • Thanks Buddy, I'll give it a go. Merry Christmas.

  • @SETTLECLARET Walmart Music Downloads had it last yr but for some odd reason had it removed. Damn Polygram Records!

  • hey dude

anyone got the russians are coming album on you tube? - without a doubt the defining moment of Bram.

Saw Bram live at Horn of Plenty, St Albans about 1983. Own an amp reputed to be his practice amp, put in for repair and never collected!

  • Thanks for sharing, man, what a great tune. This was one of my favorite albums of that period; they had such a unique sound. I still have it on vinyl!

  • I agree, 1979 was definitely a high-water mark in pop music......so many great songs that summer. I was just 13, but I remember that in May and June the radio was awash with disco, and by the middle of the summer it had disappeared and was (thankfully) replaced by songs like this..
