This is based on Kamui Gaiden,( カムイ外伝), Japapense old comic, around 1970.

You can see anime of red Kimono Ninja in Youtube, that's it. Dagger of Kamui is totally different work.

This story quality is "Discrimination".

He becomes "Ninja" so that the boy who was born as the slave may escape from discrimination.

In the original, three boys (the slave, the farmer, and the samurai) are stories at the center.

And, it is a story of slave's child's "kamui" and wolf's "kamui".

"Kamui" is a meaning "God" with Ainu language.
