  • This really isn't that great of a gen player he does the same moves repeatedly. Anyone that knows how to counter what he's doin or even zone him semi effectively would win easily. I've seen much better on both ends...

  • terrible first jump in though

  • no really theres a point in the video where the announcer says "no one could have seen this coming!" after the 100th low kick to hundred slap

  • he's all right but he really looks like a one trick pony

  • he's totally ignoring the other gen style ( crane ) for some reason. from what i know, Yeb uses it to confuse directions

  • I wish I was this good. So far I can do full HK gekiros 1/3 and the crossup super ultra 9/10.

But I just cant get to do the MK -> SLAP

  • I'll be impressed if he can do the complete heavy kick gekiro. Besides I think he uses turbo for those hand slices.

  • no one in japan or player good enough uses turbo.

  • If it works use it.These players are playing to win.Not to look fancy or good.

  • good job gen player :)

  • SF4 is nice but to compare to a game of chess... please 3rd strike was like a game of chess... sf4 is just plain fun and combos... still a great game to play though

  • First, this isn't me or anybody I know, so enough with the cursing. Also, people can do gens hands that quickly and in combos without a turbo, there is lot of info on how to do that on SRK in the Gen forum. Chill!

  • And you sir, are a fucking moron. Apparently you've never heard of Jibbo or Yeb, both of which can do that shit for free. Both also made it out of their pools in SF4 at Evo, but what do you know about that? You don't. That's why you are running your ignorant ass mouth.

  • I saw some Yeb vids. He has a MONSTROUS Gen. I'm awed.

  • Watching Yebs' combos, in terms of gameplay, is orgasmic. The latest tournament that he was in..JEESUS O_O. busted out a double ex canceled combo on a good Dhalsim, and the audience was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

  • I think I saw that fight. For a player with no projectiles, he did GREAT against a long distance Dhalsim. Anyone who plays Dhalsim well knows how to stay out of reach but Yeb performed WELL.

I think that combo was Hands > mk > hands > Forward FC > mp > mk > hands. Damn near close to 20 hits. That combo hurt my feelings, lol.

  • XD. after the first FADC, he did mp, mk, hands FADC again into the shoryuken input kick (can never remember its name). :P Yeah, it wa almost 20 hits.

    It was jizzyyy :D

  • That's the "Gekiro". I learnt it's name by force because I had to help ppl learn the timing to complete it and they could never remember the name, lol.

  • XD. I've just learnt that my secondary mains ultra (vega) = bloody high claw..

    Oh wait...is it? lol.

the geckiro timings' well dodgy, and it's fail damage XD.

  • It's still a great anti-air. When timed properly, you can even link it with the Crane style Ultra. It's hard but it's possible. It also makes a great juggle after the super and once you can complete it, it's great for psyching out your opponent. They take you a bit more seriously once you can complete it consistently. It's a nice fake too. Even if they block the first hit, the second hit can counter an opponent's attempt to punish you

    It's still pretty useful. ^_^

  • As for Vega, well, I just call it the Maximum Spider, lol.

  • All he does his hands though >_>

  • Street fighter 4 is like a game of chess it continues til one makes a mistake, By either not blocking or dodging. Moves come with delay so theres always a risk using them but its the only way to win a game. Gen players who use only hands and win arent noobs. it's those who cant counter hands that are noobs. He's quite low tier so i wouldnt consider his hand move broken. He has poor stamina poor stun. If he wins by using hands only it's the opponents failure.

  • I didn't mean to say his hands move is broken. In fact, I meant that it's one of the few good tricks he has up his sleeves in SF4. He was amazing in SFA3 though. I miss those times :(

  • From all reports i've heard he is the worse in S3 as they combine his two styles and they are apparently horrible.

  • Ain't that the truth. If Gen were as monstrous as he was in SFA3, his chains would be SICK. Only scale damage would stop him, lol.

  • True. Not only did he stick to ONE stance, all he did was ONE move. The Hands > MK > Hands looked nice but that was all the novelty there was with this Gen.

At least it works for him but if he can learn the other stance and proper use of the other moves, he'll be off the charts. He'll do more than just scrape by... He'll kick UBER ass.

  • he have to change stances just to look cute? thats funny... I though that the only goal of a fighting game was to win.

  • Just to look cute? Are you serious?

The fact that you can say such nonsense only proves that you are NOT a Gen player. If you were, you'd appreciate the value of BOTH stances and you'd know that it's about more than just "looking cute". In any case, I already acknowledged that he won. What I said was that he'd do more than scrape by. I prefer skilful, comfortable wins but if you prefer to barely get by with ONE move, good for you. That's just not how I roll, 'kay? ^_^

  • i give credit if he can win. eache stance have thir uses, but if he can win, it doesnt matter at all.

u want a show, but i am a hardcoe fighting game player, if he can win using less resorses, he is not wort then someone ho dont.

i saw a couple os top gens, the other stanc4e has few uses... not as much as u try to make look like

  • So did I. I already acknowledged that he won. (Didn't you see that?)

Besides, that doesn't mean tha the other stance is useless. The Mantis stance is GREAT for combos. The Crane Stance is more for mind-games and turtle-breaking and the Shakudan is EXCELLENT for players who try to absorb your jumping hits and counter using the FC. I myself prefer the Mantis style but the Crane style is also VERY useful. It's not about a show. It's about being able to use ALL the tools you have.

  • @Magnetronous Why the hell wouldn't he? It's one of Gen's best moves, and it's a staple of his bnb combo.

  • Redwolfx IS the best GEN im PS3N

  • JiBBo is best

  • very good lol

  • if u would mix i uo with some crane and wall bounces n sneek in a gekiro wen they least expect it u would be a beast.

heres a new combo hint mantice supercombo into gekro 3 hit into crane ultracombo

  • That Blanka player was really good Btw :)

  • Bleach..You got to stop it before doing all hits and do forward medium kick and hands again

Good gen player but needs some variety,no use of the 2nd style ?

  • anyone mind tellin me how he can do Thousand hand without being pushed back??

  • OMG, this man is a BEAST!!

  • what a garbage zangief

  • omg...

  • Imagine how scary he would be if he incorporated some crane stance and other mixups.

  • True that Fighterfan69!
