Hello. I'd like to point out that in the Qur'an, God reveals to His Messenger Muhammad, peace upon him, that "... but they did not kill him or crucify him..." referring to the departure of the Christ. How then can the Baha'i faith enjoin that he was killed? Thanks in advance.
This passage is referring to the fact that they thought by killing his physical body that this would wipe out his message. But, the true Body of Christ is his body of believers, which resurrected after 3 days & 3 nights & went on to spread the gospel of the kingdom, including the coming of Baha'u'llah.
@agreeableviews816 The meaning is that even though they killed his physical body, which Jesus said was "of no avail", in reality they didn't extinguish the light of Christ. They got the wrong body, as the Body of Believers resurrected and carried the message forward.
The prophecies in Zechariah refer primarily to the return of Jesus the High Priest, NOT the 2nd coming of Christ. The majority of Zechariah is a prophecy of the New Jerusalem located in the Rocky Mountains of the United States, where Jesus the High Priest returned & the throne of David is established today.
You haven't taken the time to investigate these things, & you are missing out.
You put Baha'u'llah in the best company with Jesus Christ by labeling him a "liar".
Richbee, why are you posting these same exact comments on every video of this channel? are we supposed to convert to your religion based on these attacks of our's? i have an idea; why not make a video summarizing these points instead of spamming this channel?
How have we received the account of Jesus being tempted on the mountain for 40 days/nights? Was someone else there with him, taking notes? Do you accept these accounts?
But more importantly, do you accept the prophecies about Jesus which are mentioned in this video? Do you accept that he comes in the prophesied Name, Address, Date & Mission from the Bible?
There is nothing "questionable" about it at all. Baha'u'llah does claim to be the Everlasting Father & Return of Christ.
One could easily assert that the apostles of Jesus "bestowed" the titles found in the gospels on him, & that Jesus never claimed these things for himself. I don't claim this. The mere fact that Baha'u'llah has come SO RECENTLY & that there are NUMEROUS non-Baha'i sources showing the historical truth of these claims being made, that it's absurd to attempt to deny this
Christ made many messianic claims for Himself and backed these claims up with public miracles and fulfilment of very detailed prochecies. He Himself stood up and read from the book of Isaiah in the temple, closed the book and said "Today the scripture is fulfilled in your hearing". The text He was reading from was a messianic text. This is one of many examples. The bible is clear the messiah will live forever and will be a Jew, not the dead bones of a Persian rotting in the grave, sorry.
I accept Jesus as the Messiah prophesied of in Isaiah 53 (as one example). However, there are 2 Messiah's prophesied of in the Old Testament, not just 1 coming twice, as the clergy (whitewashed tombs) teach. Jesus never said that he fulfilled every verse of scripture in the Old Testament. This is obvious when one looks closely.
The question is, are you willing to look with "eyes to see"?
I've told you my name was Jonathan yet you continue to call me "snot". Is your goal to win my over to the truth or simply to win? Is this perhaps a reflection of your heart here?
Jesus made it very clear and stated it plainly that He was coming again, not someone else representing Him or His name. The angels even said that this same Jesus would return again as they saw Him leaving. It is you who read the scriptures with closed eyes, not me.
I refer to you as "snot" or "snotbog" because that's your username. If you don't wish to be called that, get a different username.
The Bible also says that the same Elijah would return, but as we have seen, that just didn't happen the way people expected. Do you reject John the Baptist as Elijah?
I've asked you to call me Jonathan. If you wish to call me Snot, that's your choice. I can't change my Username.
Jesus said, "And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come."
John was the "Elijah" to proceed Jesus first coming but Revelation refers to 2 witnesses who will come in the future that are able to call forth fire. I believe that one of these will by Elijah. John fufilled the role for Christ's 1st coming, yet Elijah himself will come before His 2nd coming.
snot, are all of your beliefs based on this type of conjecture? To reach these conclusions required imaginative leaps. Its odd that you accept John was the return of Elijah on his first coming, but that for some reason Elijah himself will return on the 2nd. Elijah already returned in John; the event has been fulfilled already according to Jesus. Yet you reject his own explanation for return for your own fancies? Based on what?
No, my beliefs are in accord with what historical orthodox "Christian" teaching has taught for 2000 years. It is you friend who is jumping through hoops, not me.
snot, since when does "historical orthodox Christian teachings" supersede what the actual teachings of the Bible state? You stated you "believe" Elijah would return on the 2nd coming; based on what Scripture? By your methods we can "believe" whatever we want. One must actually ignore explicit verses (Rev3:12) to arrive at conclusions like
the same Jesus is returning.
btw-we always address folks by their usernames; your username is snot, so calling you Johnathon gets too confusing to follow
No, my username is snotbog1. You and Adam call me Snot out hostility. Don't give me the whole username/confusion argument. Not buying it.
That fact is this: All of Christendom, whether you're Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox or Coptic, believe in the 2 comings of Jesus Christ and that these 2 comings are of one person. Who would that be? Jesus Christ.
If my claims are mere "conjecture" as you say, I think the rest of Christendom is on my side. (about 2 billion people or so)
Also, you seem to want it both ways. On one hand you say that the name Baha'u'llah (Glory of God) is mentioned thousands of years ago in the bible referring to God. But you also say the Rev 3 passage refers to Baha'u'llah as the "new name". Well, which is it? Is it a new name or a name already mentioned thousand of years ago from scripture? It can't be both.
Also Rev 19:12 says that nobody knows this "new name" but the messiah Himself? Well, how is that you know it?
The "new name" of the return of Christ is new in that it has been now unveiled, & is a different name than Christ had on his first coming.
The reference to the Knight on the White Horse, which is the return of the High Priest, a different Personage, is not a reference to the "new name", but refers to the name that only he himself knew, which isn't the same as the "new name". Nowhere does it say that the name that he himself knew is the new name. Can you provide a verse that says it?
New name is not yet unveiled. It does NOT say a new "person" but rather a new "name", just as it also says that WE will receive a "new name" (Rev 2:17)
New name in ch 3+19 IS the same person! Ch3:12 refers to the "New Jerusalem" coming down out of heaven. When does this happen? In Rev. 21:2, after ch. 19!
Have you ever read Hebrews? Christ IS our high priest! In fact, 9:28 again says that Christ (Himself) will appear A SECOND TIME!!
The "new name" that the true believers receive IS the "new name" of Christ, who is a different Personage, just as John the Baptist IS the return of Elijah, if you are willing to accept it. Are you? Do you accept Jesus' definition of return?
Ch. 3 is Jesus Christ delivering a message of future events through the angel to John. Ch. 19 is John's account of the vision of the future return of the High Priest. 2 Promised Ones. Baha'u'llah - Christ on the Throne. High Priest - next to the throne.
I've enjoyed the exchange with you 2 but where and when does it end. Not sure.
I've tried to plainly articulate what I see as plainly written in the bible. You seem to see something different.
Bottom line: I believe Jesus Christ has better creditials than Baha'u'llah. I don't think a thoughrall study of the bible leaves room for another messiah. We can go on and on with this and that but honestly I think we've reached a stalemate, don't you?
Jesus Christ has clearly said that He alone is the Messiah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and that He Himself would return again as the everlasting Messiah, a Messiah that would never die and that would rule forever.
Jesus warned us that others would come saying that they are the Christ and not to follow them but to look for the return of He Himself: Jesus Christ.
Man, this stuff's plain. I hope maybe someone reads this post with eyes open. I did my best.
These verses are great. What are you attempting to establish though? In watching this video, you should realize that we accept Jesus as the Christ. I don't disagree with any of the verses you cite. What's your point here?
This was a response to your response to me (5 days ago) when you said, "Jesus never said that he fulfilled every verse of scripture in the Old Testament. This is obvious when one looks closely."
Please check back and you undestand my citing of these verses which establish Jesus alone as the fulfilment of prophetic Old Testament scripture. I also pointed out that stating that not every single OT verse was written about Him is an absurd statement because not every verse is prophetic.
Yes, I should have specified that "not every prophetic verse" refers to Jesus. The point is, that not even every verse referring to a Messiah or Promised One refers to Jesus, if you take the time to investigate. The verses cited in this video referring to Baha'u'llah are perfect examples. Can you show how any of these verses refer to Jesus?
I believe we have already dealt with these verses and I showed in very specific detail how they absolutely could not be referring to Mr. Ali. For starters, the Messiah needs to actually be alive. Jesus is. Mr Ali is not. The Messiah also neeods to be a Jew. Jesus is. Mr Ali is not.
I went WAY beyond this in examining those texts to show you problems in your interpretation. Incidently, I NEVER got a response back you diputing my analysis of your faulty exegesis of those passages.
You say that acknowledge Jesus as Messiah, yet you continually ignore the numerous, specific and plainly written texts of the New Testament that clearly state that it is Jesus Himself (that same Jesus) that will return as the Messiah. You do what cults commonly do by reading a description of a "tree" and calling it a "gorilla". If this is how you're gonna read the scripture than you can make it say whatever you want.
Jesus warned us Adam, (can I still call you Adam even though you still show your hostility towards me by refusing to call me by my first name?) that in the end times many false messiahs will come claiming to be Christ and not to follow them. Jesus and the apostles made it clear that Jesus Himself would come AGAIN and described in detail the conditions and details of that coming. I'm sorry. Mr. Ali fails and fails miserably. It is obvious to anyone not blinded by this Satanic deception.
I don't feel that I know you well enough to call you by anything but your screen name. There's nothing hostile about it.
Jesus said that the "many" false ones would come in HIS NAME, the name "Jesus". This corresponds with his explanation in Revelation that he would come again with a "new name" Rev. 3:12. That name is demonstrated by this video to be "Baha'u'llah".
snot, you need to finish reading the whole verse before you jump back in with the sarcasm. Yes words do have meaning & in this case the words "my own new name" at the end of that verse are quite significant. Namely that he's not coming back as "Jesus"; the 2nd Christ will have "new name". He also revealed what that new name is in Mark 8:38. The Bible tells of 2 Christs coming, not 1 coming twice (Zech 4:14). Don't you remember he explained what return means? (hint: John was the return of Elijah)
The new testament is repleat with specific references that Jesus Himself would return. References not worded in poetic language but plain communication. Just to make sure His true followers wern't decieved, Jesus even warned that many false prophets would come saying that they were the "Christ" but not to go after them. I wasn't being sarcastic. It was an honest question. You guys simply ignore passage after passage that speaks against your false gospel.
snot, I can respect someone having different interpretations of verses, but your understanding is in opposition to some of these explicit things we've pointed to. You seem to be willfully ignoring the fact that Jesus said he'd come with a "new name" in Rev3:12; you seem to be willfully ignoring the fact that Elijah has already returned in John, and that this is the way we were taught to understand what "return" means. It's not the same person who returns a 2nd time. How do you not see this?
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26 If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not. 27 For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. (Matthew 24:24-27)
Baha'u'llah's coming has occurred as lightning from the east to the west via the telegraph at the time of His initial appearance & now in this day over the internet, where "Every eye shall see him".
Baha'ullah is dead and in a grave my friend. Since when does the "telegraph" resemble lighting coming from the east to the west. That's a stretch. A lot of people qualify under that interpretation. The world did NOT see Mr Ali when he born. Jesus told his apostles that HE would return from heaven JUST AS He ascended into heaven. If you want to butcher the texts and make say whatever you want it to say, be my guest. But Christ warned you that false prophets would arise. Mr. Ali is one of them.
86 this. Did a photo search and found a picture of Mr Ali. You know, I'm curious. If I were to take a common artist rendition of Jesus and this picture of Ali around, I wonder how many could identify Jesus and how many could identify Baha'ullah? Any guesses?
Good question. Short answer: NO. Jesus was a jew and looked like one. He also probably had short hair. But you miss the point. It had to do with people's recognizing Jesus (not some artist portrait of Him) as opposed to people recognizing Baha'u'llah. Nobody but a Bahai would recognize Baha'u'llah yet virtually everyone would recognize Jesus. The picture, though not a true image of Him represents Him and people, all people, know it.
Again, this makes no sense. You're actually asserting that everyone would recognize some Roman looking dude that you call 'jesus'.
"Every eye shall see him" will be fulfilled both spiritually & physically in Baha'u'llah. It doesn't say "every eye will RECOGNIZE him" does it. It says "see him".
O.K. Let's forget the "Rome-ish" looking Jesus. My point is simply that people "recognize" Jesus. Everybody of all faiths believe in Jesus and look up to Him as at least a great prophet. No one else has this kind of universal recognition and praise. The Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, even atheists prasie Him. I have a rather large book of World religeons and Baha'i is not even listed. (I think it should be). But it just goes to show you how unfamiliar the faith is.
This is really not relevant, as what is prophesied to occur is the worldwide projection of the message & identity of Baha'u'llah, when "every eye shall see him" and "every tribe (including Christians) of the earth shall WAIL on account of him. Even so, Amen."
This is why it also says that he comes "like a thief", & then later is seen by all. When the thief comes, at first no one notices, but later, when they realize that they missed him, they "WAIL".
No, not a worldwide message of a man whose bones lie buried in a grave but an actual event where the eyes of the world see the return of a person (Christ). You're reading into the text. Again, the "message of Baha'u'llah" is pretty much unknown. The ones who will "wail" are the Jews who crucified Chrsit. Notice it says "the ones who pierced him". Hello? Come on man. Wake up. You're in a cult. Read the passages plainly and quit reading things into the text. I'm here for ya' bro. Keep resonding...
Adam: I sense you're gonna see the truth. Don't ask me why, I just feel it. Read the new testament from Matthew to Revelation and you will see that it centers around one person, the God-man: Jesus Christ, the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the "I AM", the one who died, rose again, ascended into heaven and returning again, not symbollically in the manifestation of someone else, but Jesus Himself as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Please share with everyone where the term "God-man" appears in the New Testament.
Also, please point out where Jesus is referred to as "Lord of Lords" or "King of Kings". The return of Jesus is described as the Knight on the White Horse wearing those titles on his garments, as a knight wears the name of the king he champions on his chaps. In this case, the name is Baha'u'llah, the King of Kings seated upon the throne of David. Amen.
The new testmament refers to Jesus as a man and also as God (see John ch 1) There are many texts I could sight to support Jesus as both God and man, hence "the God-man".
Rev 17:14-18 is clearly referring to Christ It reads:
"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings--and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."
Jesus is always the one in the New Testament referred to as "the Lamb".
Baha'u'llah cannot sit on the throne of David because it is clear from scripture that the one who sits on the throne MUST be a descendent of David (a Jew). I believe Mr. Ali was Persian, was he not? It's also very difficult for a dead man to sit on David's throne. That's for questions. Let's keep this going. My name is Jonathan by the way.
It becomes very apparent, like more other cults, you simply force your prophet into the bible. If you examine each one of these scriptures contextually, one will find absolutely no connection to Bah'u'allah or any other self proclaimed prophet. You make a big issue about his name. Jesus' name was given to Him. Bah'u'allah's given name is Mírzá Ḥusayn-`Alí Nuri. I can call myself Elijah but it doesn't make me him either.
The title "Baha'u'llah" was also given to Him by another. And it's only when an Individual fulfills all 4 pieces of the criteria together that they are proved to be authentic.
This video only scratches the surface. Read Ezekiel 1:26-28 where Baha'u'llah, "the glory of the Lord" is depicted as being a REAL PERSONAGE seated upon the throne.
The fact is that the name Baha'u'llah is prophesied of. Do you know of any others called Baha'u'llah that fulfill the other prophecies as well?
Wrong on that, sorry. Mr. Ali took that name for himself. The Glory of God seated on the throne is Jesus Christ. Maybe you should check out Luke 22:69, Ephesians 1:20 and Colossians 3:1. It is Christ Himself that affirms this (Mark 14:62). Anybody can assign himself a title and start writing himself into the bible. Jesus had many different SPECIFIC phrophecies writen concerning Himself. He also attested to His claim by doing many miraculous signs, including rising from the dead.
Luke 1:31-32 "31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,
Adam, I've been a bit cocky with you and I apologize. It's not Christ like of me. I want you to know the truth. You are following a false teacher. The eternal ruler to sit on King David's throne must be a descendent of King David. This person is Jesus Christ.
Your translation from the King James version is poor. The better translations from the older manuscripts say "they" will come. Not "he will come". Even the King James translators new this was not referring to the "Christ" as the word "he" is not even capitalized. Is this the best you do prophetically from the bible pointing to your suppossed prophet?? Christ made it real clear what the conditions of HIS return would be like. This obviously hasn't happened yet. Read Matt. 24-25
Silly, NONE of the letters in the Old Testament are capitalized. Also, the Hebrew word for "they" & "he" is the same.
Read Isaiah 35:1-2 where Baha'u'llah is prophesied by name to appear at Mount Carmel in the Valley of Sharon. Pretty specific.
Jesus is prophesied only 1 time by name & address, & we accept this. Baha'u'llah is prophesied in much greater detail. You're only hung up on your literal interp. of him coming from the sky, when the Bible says "heaven"
You do not know the bible or Christianity. The "he" in this text refers to the person that will come up from Assyria and Egypt to Jerusalem to worship. This is why other modern translations like the New American Standard Version says "they" instead of "he". This is clear not only from the context but other scriptures references as well. SEE Isaiah 19:23-25 In fact the peoples of the entire earth will go up to Jerusalem Psalm 72:8 Zechariah 9:10
Searched dozens of other translations for the use of "he" instead of "they" in Micah 7:12. I have aprox 60 different translations in my study as well as another 100 or so online. I did not find a single other translation that translates that with the word "he".
Are you familiar with Young's Literal Translation. It translates the text pretty much (word-for-word) "as is" without worrying about sentence structure in the English. Very wooden. It reads: "That day -- even unto thee it doth come in, From Asshur and the cities of the fortress, And from the fortress even unto the river, And from sea to sea, and mount to mount." Again, using "it" to refer to the "masses" that will come into Jerusalem during this future time. Is Mr Ali now an "it"?
Here's another translation from the Jewish Tanakh (JPS Translation). It reads: "This is a day when, to you, "tramplers" will come streaming from Assyria..." Again, the "plural" use of people marching into Jerusalem, calling them "tramplers".
Again, Mr Ali assigned himself that title. Even if somebody else gave it to him (which they didn't), what does that prove? Joseph Smith was visited by Jesus Himself, not to mention Moses and a slue of other Bible super-stars. Jesus' fufilled prophecies concerning Himself are numerous and very specific. (Ever read Isaiah 53 or Psalm 22?) Jesus' credentials are also supported with countless miracles. If you want references for more fufilled prochecy, I'd be more than happy to supply it to you.
Jesus will return from heaven and will appear in the clouds. Read Zechariah 12:10; compare that to Rev 1:7!! The Jewish people will see the one they pierced and mourn. If you want to "spiritualize" verses at whim, then you can make the bible say whatever you want it to say. I could find Santa Claus. Look, here's a sentence the starts with the word saint and end in a sentence "clause". PRESTO: SANTA CLAUS. Yet neither Santa nor Ali will save you from your sins, only Christ who died on the cross.
Isaiah 35:1-2 were these things were fufulled in Mr. Ali's lifetime. Vs.1+2 "the deserts shall bloom" Did this happen? No, nothing changed. Whatever blooms were present had been already vs.3 Did Mr Ali come with "vengence"? If so, it goes against your anti-violence philosophy, doesn't it?
vs5 Did the deaf hear and the blind see?
vs6 did the lame walk? waters suddenly break forth? vs 8 a "highway of Holiness" built?
vs10. the Lord returns to Zion Where's Zion? In Isreal my friend, not Persia.
Great job adamjacob9 loved it! The more I learn about the faith the stronger my faith becomes. I have been a Bahai now for 12 years I am still learning and searching and every search that I make proves of this faith. Every day I watch the news fulfills Baha'u'llah's message. THANK YOU KEEP ON! GOD BLESS YOU!
Jesus Christ- the only begotten Son of God says, I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE - NOT "A" WAY ETC NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME Jeus speaks in mattew 24 of false prophets - there is NO OTHER SAVIOUR than the Lord Jesus- NO OTHER MESSENGER REQUIRED
Are you not aware that the Bible prophesies that AFTER the Son, the Everlasting Father will come to earth seated upon the throne of David to bring God's Kingdom?
If you truly want to follow Jesus to the Father, the proofs in this video show you WHO the Everlasting Father IS.
The title "Father" refers to the potency of the Revelation of Baha'u'llah, not that He is God physically.
God is an Infinite Invisible Essence. "Father" is the potency of Reflection of Light through Baha'u'llah.
In John 16:13-15 Jesus describes the coming of the "Spirit of Truth" as the coming of the Father who "shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you." He explains that only the Father has what is his (Jesus'), & also explains that the Spirit of Truth has what is his, showing that the Spirit of Truth IS the Father.
Isaiah explicitly prophesies the coming of the Everlasting Father who will bring God's government, the Kingdom (Davidic) of God on earth that Jesus told us to pray for.
The bible say let my word be true and every man be a lier....If you don't have bible.Mark it off..The word of God will always Back it's self up.And it's what's Going to judge you.(((King James)))Rev 20:12 all 66 books
Is there something in this video (if you watched it) that is not in conformity with the Bible? If so, tell us what it is. All of the passages in this video PROVING that Jesus is Christ & Baha'u'llah is the Return of Christ are from the Bible. What's the problem?
The wise will use their intellect to search for truth everywhere until they find it. The wicked (Daniel 12: those that don't use their intellect) don't use their personal power of understanding & are asleep in the depths of materialism. What's trash here?
funnyman, I don't know if I agree entirely, although I what you're saying. I get lots of useful info on youtube; its not inherently wrong. God told Hosea "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge". Who's to say what a valid source for truth is or isn't? Was there anything in this video that you found engaging?
funnyman, I think I totally agree. I'm having to assume I know what you mean, as your posts are kind of cryptically void of details. But yes, that's what we're trying to point out with these videos on adamsjacobs channel: that we've been warned, and will be weighed and measured by our adherence to the Word of God. Cheers.
According to the Bible, the "antichrists" are those that don't accept Jesus' physical lineage from David through his father Joseph. The word Christ means "anointed male lineal descendent of King David." Therefore, to be anti or against "Christ" is to be against this lineage, of which Jesus & Baha'u'llah are both from.
Baha'u'llah upholds and proclaims the teachings of Jesus Christ, and as you can see from this video, also fulfills all of the prophecies for the 2nd Christ. The Christian clergy have built up a false image of "Antichrist" so that the people won't accept the 2nd Christ. This they have done to keep the money rolling in.
Love your stuff 144 Productions, until you get into the Covenant Breaking nonsense of a Guardian after Shoghi Effendi...Unfortunately, you don't get it, but alot of your video's ROCK...
What nonsense? Have you read the Covenant and Will & Testament for yourself? The throne line of David through Baha'u'llah never did and never will end. This is the Everlasting Covenant which the "Hands" broke. "All must seek guidance and turn unto the Center of the Cause and the House of Justice. And he that turneth unto whatsoever else is indeed in grievous error." W&T pg. 25 When they turned to the "Hands" & Ruhiyah Khanum, they turned to "whatsoever else"
Hello. I'd like to point out that in the Qur'an, God reveals to His Messenger Muhammad, peace upon him, that "... but they did not kill him or crucify him..." referring to the departure of the Christ. How then can the Baha'i faith enjoin that he was killed? Thanks in advance.
agreeableviews816 2 years ago
@agreeableviews816,
This passage is referring to the fact that they thought by killing his physical body that this would wipe out his message. But, the true Body of Christ is his body of believers, which resurrected after 3 days & 3 nights & went on to spread the gospel of the kingdom, including the coming of Baha'u'llah.
adamjacob9 1 year ago
@agreeableviews816 The meaning is that even though they killed his physical body, which Jesus said was "of no avail", in reality they didn't extinguish the light of Christ. They got the wrong body, as the Body of Believers resurrected and carried the message forward.

Richbee,
The prophecies in Zechariah refer primarily to the return of Jesus the High Priest, NOT the 2nd coming of Christ. The majority of Zechariah is a prophecy of the New Jerusalem located in the Rocky Mountains of the United States, where Jesus the High Priest returned & the throne of David is established today.

Richbee,
There is nothing "questionable" about it at all. Baha'u'llah does claim to be the Everlasting Father & Return of Christ.
One could easily assert that the apostles of Jesus "bestowed" the titles found in the gospels on him, & that Jesus never claimed these things for himself. I don't claim this. The mere fact that Baha'u'llah has come SO RECENTLY & that there are NUMEROUS non-Baha'i sources showing the historical truth of these claims being made, that it's absurd to attempt to deny this
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Adam,
Christ made many messianic claims for Himself and backed these claims up with public miracles and fulfilment of very detailed prochecies. He Himself stood up and read from the book of Isaiah in the temple, closed the book and said "Today the scripture is fulfilled in your hearing". The text He was reading from was a messianic text. This is one of many examples. The bible is clear the messiah will live forever and will be a Jew, not the dead bones of a Persian rotting in the grave, sorry.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
I accept Jesus as the Messiah prophesied of in Isaiah 53 (as one example).
Or are you "asleep in the dust"?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Adam,
I've told you my name was Jonathan yet you continue to call me "snot". Is your goal to win my over to the truth or simply to win? Is this perhaps a reflection of your heart here?
Jesus made it very clear and stated it plainly that He was coming again, not someone else representing Him or His name. The angels even said that this same Jesus would return again as they saw Him leaving. It is you who read the scriptures with closed eyes, not me.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
I refer to you as "snot" or "snotbog" because that's your username. If you don't wish to be called that, get a different username.
The Bible also says that the same Elijah would return, but as we have seen, that just didn't happen the way people expected. Do you reject John the Baptist as Elijah?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
I've asked you to call me Jonathan. If you wish to call me Snot, that's your choice. I can't change my Username.
Jesus said, "And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come."
John was the "Elijah" to proceed Jesus first coming but Revelation refers to 2 witnesses who will come in the future that are able to call forth fire. I believe that one of these will by Elijah. John fufilled the role for Christ's 1st coming, yet Elijah himself will come before His 2nd coming.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot, are all of your beliefs based on this type of conjecture? To reach these conclusions required imaginative leaps. Its odd that you accept John was the return of Elijah on his first coming, but that for some reason Elijah himself will return on the 2nd. Elijah already returned in John; the event has been fulfilled already according to Jesus. Yet you reject his own explanation for return for your own fancies? Based on what?
genraldisarray 3 years ago
Conjecture: Now that's funny.
No, my beliefs are in accord with what historical orthodox "Christian" teaching has taught for 2000 years. It is you friend who is jumping through hoops, not me.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot, since when does "historical orthodox Christian teachings" supersede what the actual teachings of the Bible state? You stated you "believe" Elijah would return on the 2nd coming; based on what Scripture? By your methods we can "believe" whatever we want. One must actually ignore explicit verses (Rev3:12) to arrive at conclusions like
the same Jesus is returning.
btw-we always address folks by their usernames; your username is snot, so calling you Johnathon gets too confusing to follow
genraldisarray 3 years ago
No, my username is snotbog1. You and Adam call me Snot out hostility. Don't give me the whole username/confusion argument. Not buying it.
That fact is this: All of Christendom, whether you're Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox or Coptic, believe in the 2 comings of Jesus Christ and that these 2 comings are of one person. Who would that be? Jesus Christ.
If my claims are mere "conjecture" as you say, I think the rest of Christendom is on my side. (about 2 billion people or so)
snotbog1 3 years ago
What does the bible say? Jesus says that "HE" will come again, not another.
John 14:3...."I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
Who's speaking? Jesus Christ. Who will come again? that same Jesus Christ
When my wife married me, she took on a "new name". Upon doing so, she did not lose her breasts and start sprouting a beard.
Same woman: "new name".
The conjecture's in your court, not mine.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Also, you seem to want it both ways. On one hand you say that the name Baha'u'llah (Glory of God) is mentioned thousands of years ago in the bible referring to God. But you also say the Rev 3 passage refers to Baha'u'llah as the "new name". Well, which is it? Is it a new name or a name already mentioned thousand of years ago from scripture? It can't be both.
Also Rev 19:12 says that nobody knows this "new name" but the messiah Himself? Well, how is that you know it?
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
The "new name" of the return of Christ is new in that it has been now unveiled, & is a different name than Christ had on his first coming.
The reference to the Knight on the White Horse, which is the return of the High Priest, a different Personage, is not a reference to the "new name", but refers to the name that only he himself knew, which isn't the same as the "new name". Nowhere does it say that the name that he himself knew is the new name. Can you provide a verse that says it?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Username: Snotbog1 (don't want anyone "confused")
New name is not yet unveiled. It does NOT say a new "person" but rather a new "name", just as it also says that WE will receive a "new name" (Rev 2:17)
New name in ch 3+19 IS the same person! Ch3:12 refers to the "New Jerusalem" coming down out of heaven. When does this happen? In Rev. 21:2, after ch. 19!
Have you ever read Hebrews? Christ IS our high priest! In fact, 9:28 again says that Christ (Himself) will appear A SECOND TIME!!
snotbog1 3 years ago
The "new name" that the true believers receive IS the "new name" of Christ, who is a different Personage, just as John the Baptist IS the return of Elijah, if you are willing to accept it. Are you? Do you accept Jesus' definition of return?
Ch. 3 is Jesus Christ delivering a message of future events through the angel to John. Ch. 19 is John's account of the vision of the future return of the High Priest. 2 Promised Ones. Baha'u'llah - Christ on the Throne. High Priest - next to the throne.
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Dear genraldisarray and adamjacob9
I've enjoyed the exchange with you 2 but where and when does it end. Not sure.
I've tried to plainly articulate what I see as plainly written in the bible. You seem to see something different.
Bottom line: I believe Jesus Christ has better creditials than Baha'u'llah. I don't think a thoughrall study of the bible leaves room for another messiah. We can go on and on with this and that but honestly I think we've reached a stalemate, don't you?
snotbog1 3 years ago
Jesus Christ has clearly said that He alone is the Messiah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and that He Himself would return again as the everlasting Messiah, a Messiah that would never die and that would rule forever.
Jesus warned us that others would come saying that they are the Christ and not to follow them but to look for the return of He Himself: Jesus Christ.
Man, this stuff's plain. I hope maybe someone reads this post with eyes open. I did my best.
God Bless,

Fulfil every verse? That is of course a stupid statement as many verses are not prophetic in the futuristic sense and even speak of evil, etc.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Did Jesus consider Himself the fulfillment of the law and prophets?
"Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures." Luke 24:27
"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me" John 5:39
"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17
Now who is blind, me or you?
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
These verses are great. What are you attempting to establish though? In watching this video, you should realize that we accept Jesus as the Christ. I don't disagree with any of the verses you cite. What's your point here?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Adam,
This was a response to your response to me (5 days ago) when you said, "Jesus never said that he fulfilled every verse of scripture in the Old Testament. This is obvious when one looks closely."
Please check back and you undestand my citing of these verses which establish Jesus alone as the fulfilment of prophetic Old Testament scripture. I also pointed out that stating that not every single OT verse was written about Him is an absurd statement because not every verse is prophetic.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
Yes, I should have specified that "not every prophetic verse" refers to Jesus. The point is, that not even every verse referring to a Messiah or Promised One refers to Jesus, if you take the time to investigate. The verses cited in this video referring to Baha'u'llah are perfect examples. Can you show how any of these verses refer to Jesus?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
I believe we have already dealt with these verses and I showed in very specific detail how they absolutely could not be referring to Mr. Ali. For starters, the Messiah needs to actually be alive. Jesus is. Mr Ali is not. The Messiah also neeods to be a Jew. Jesus is. Mr Ali is not.
I went WAY beyond this in examining those texts to show you problems in your interpretation. Incidently, I NEVER got a response back you diputing my analysis of your faulty exegesis of those passages.
snotbog1 3 years ago
You say that acknowledge Jesus as Messiah, yet you continually ignore the numerous, specific and plainly written texts of the New Testament that clearly state that it is Jesus Himself (that same Jesus) that will return as the Messiah. You do what cults commonly do by reading a description of a "tree" and calling it a "gorilla". If this is how you're gonna read the scripture than you can make it say whatever you want.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Jesus warned us Adam, (can I still call you Adam even though you still show your hostility towards me by refusing to call me by my first name?) that in the end times many false messiahs will come claiming to be Christ and not to follow them. Jesus and the apostles made it clear that Jesus Himself would come AGAIN and described in detail the conditions and details of that coming. I'm sorry. Mr. Ali fails and fails miserably. It is obvious to anyone not blinded by this Satanic deception.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog1,
I don't feel that I know you well enough to call you by anything but your screen name. There's nothing hostile about it.
Jesus said that the "many" false ones would come in HIS NAME, the name "Jesus". This corresponds with his explanation in Revelation that he would come again with a "new name" Rev. 3:12. That name is demonstrated by this video to be "Baha'u'llah".
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Of course, how silly of me. Let me introduce myself. I'm Jonathan. You can call me Jonathan. How's that?
Yeah.....Rev 3:12 I'm pretty sure it mentions Jerusalem there. Hmmm. Do words have meaning?
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot, you need to finish reading the whole verse before you jump back in with the sarcasm. (hint: John was the return of Elijah)
genraldisarray 3 years ago
genra
The new testament is repleat with specific references that Jesus Himself would return. References not worded in poetic language but plain communication. Just to make sure His true followers wern't decieved, Jesus even warned that many false prophets would come saying that they were the "Christ" but not to go after them. I wasn't being sarcastic. It was an honest question. You guys simply ignore passage after passage that speaks against your false gospel.
You can call me Jonathan too.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot, I can respect someone having different interpretations of verses, but your understanding is in opposition to some of these explicit things we've pointed to. How do you not see this?
genraldisarray 3 years ago

Are you saying that if Baha'u'llah is a Jew, he is cursed? Hmmm... sounds a bit... I think you know the word.

(Matthew 24:24-27)
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
Baha'u'llah's coming has occurred as lightning from the east to the west via the telegraph at the time of His initial appearance & now in this day over the internet, where "Every eye shall see him".
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Baha'ullah is dead and in a grave my friend. Since when does the "telegraph" resemble lighting coming from the east to the west. That's a stretch. A lot of people qualify under that interpretation. The world did NOT see Mr Ali when he born. Jesus told his apostles that HE would return from heaven JUST AS He ascended into heaven. If you want to butcher the texts and make say whatever you want it to say, be my guest. But Christ warned you that false prophets would arise. Mr. Ali is one of them.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Actually, I've been doing some research on Mr Ali here and have yet to see him on the internet. Could you email me a link with his picture? thanks
snotbog1 3 years ago
86 this. Did a photo search and found a picture of Mr Ali. You know, I'm curious. If I were to take a common artist rendition of Jesus and this picture of Ali around, I wonder how many could identify Jesus and how many could identify Baha'ullah? Any guesses?
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
I've been away. Thanks for your continued support of this video!
Do you honestly believe that the "artist rendition" of what you call "jesus" is anything like what Jesus Christ actually looked like?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Good question. Short answer: NO. Jesus was a jew and looked like one. He also probably had short hair. But you miss the point. It had to do with people's recognizing Jesus (not some artist portrait of Him) as opposed to people recognizing Baha'u'llah. Nobody but a Bahai would recognize Baha'u'llah yet virtually everyone would recognize Jesus. The picture, though not a true image of Him represents Him and people, all people, know it.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
Again, this makes no sense. You're actually asserting that everyone would recognize some Roman looking dude that you call 'jesus'.
"Every eye shall see him" will be fulfilled both spiritually & physically in Baha'u'llah. It doesn't say "every eye will RECOGNIZE him" does it. It says "see him".
adamjacob9 3 years ago
But it just goes to show you how unfamiliar the faith is.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
This is really not relevant, as what is prophesied to occur is the worldwide projection of the message & identity of Baha'u'llah, when "every eye shall see him" and "every tribe (including Christians) of the earth shall WAIL on account of him. Even so, Amen."
This is why it also says that he comes "like a thief", & then later is seen by all. When the thief comes, at first no one notices, but later, when they realize that they missed him, they "WAIL".
adamjacob9 3 years ago
No, not a worldwide message of a man whose bones lie buried in a grave but an actual event where the eyes of the world see the return of a person (Christ). You're reading into the text. Again, the "message of Baha'u'llah" is pretty much unknown. The ones who will "wail" are the Jews who crucified Chrsit. Notice it says "the ones who pierced him". Hello? Come on man. Wake up. You're in a cult. Read the passages plainly and quit reading things into the text. I'm here for ya' bro. Keep resonding...
snotbog1 3 years ago
sorry: "responding"
Adam: I sense you're gonna see the truth. Don't ask me why, I just feel it. Read the new testament from Matthew to Revelation and you will see that it centers around one person, the God-man: Jesus Christ, the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the "I AM", the one who died, rose again, ascended into heaven and returning again, not symbollically in the manifestation of someone else, but Jesus Himself as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
Please share with everyone where the term "God-man" appears in the New Testament.
Amen.
adamjacob9 3 years ago
The new testmament refers to Jesus as a man and also as God (see John ch 1) There are many texts I could sight to support Jesus as both God and man, hence "the God-man".
Rev 17:14-18 is clearly referring to Christ It reads:
"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings--and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."
Jesus is always the one in the New Testament referred to as "the Lamb".
snotbog1 3 years ago
Baha'u'llah cannot sit on the throne of David because it is clear from scripture that the one who sits on the throne MUST be a descendent of David (a Jew). I believe Mr. Ali was Persian, was he not? It's also very difficult for a dead man to sit on David's throne. That's for questions. Let's keep this going. My name is Jonathan by the way.

thegreatcheesedemon 2 years ago
It becomes very apparent, like more other cults, you simply force your prophet into the bible. If you examine each one of these scriptures contextually, one will find absolutely no connection to Bah'u'allah or any other self proclaimed prophet. You make a big issue about his name. Jesus' name was given to Him. Bah'u'allah's given name is Mírzá Ḥusayn-`Alí Nuri. I can call myself Elijah but it doesn't make me him either.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
The title "Baha'u'llah" was also given to Him by another.
Do you know of any others called Baha'u'llah that fulfill the other prophecies as well?
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Wrong on that, sorry. Mr. Ali took that name for himself. The Glory of God seated on the throne is Jesus Christ. Maybe you should check out Luke 22:69, Ephesians 1:20 and Colossians 3:1. It is Christ Himself that affirms this (Mark 14:62). Anybody can assign himself a title and start writing himself into the bible. Jesus had many different SPECIFIC phrophecies writen concerning Himself. He also attested to His claim by doing many miraculous signs, including rising from the dead.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snotbog,
Jesus never sat "upon the throne of David" nor do the scriptures claim that he "sat upon" the throne of David. You are making this up.
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Luke 1:31-32 "31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,
Adam, I've been a bit cocky with you and I apologize. It's not Christ like of me. I want you to know the truth. You are following a false teacher. The eternal ruler to sit on King David's throne must be a descendent of King David. This person is Jesus Christ.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Just curious, what are those 4 pieces of criteria??
snotbog1 3 years ago
Your translation from the King James version is poor. The better translations from the older manuscripts say "they" will come. Not "he will come". Even the King James translators new this was not referring to the "Christ" as the word "he" is not even capitalized. Is this the best you do prophetically from the bible pointing to your suppossed prophet?? Christ made it real clear what the conditions of HIS return would be like. This obviously hasn't happened yet. Read Matt. 24-25
snotbog1 3 years ago
My comment starting "Your translation..." is referring to Malachi 7:12. Sorry, left out reference text.
snotbog1 3 years ago
snot,
Silly, NONE of the letters in the Old Testament are capitalized.
You're only hung up on your literal interp. of him coming from the sky, when the Bible says "heaven"
adamjacob9 3 years ago
Correction: Ref to Micah 7:12, not Malachi.
You do not know the bible or Christianity. The "he" in this text refers to the person that will come up from Assyria and Egypt to Jerusalem to worship. This is why other modern translations like the New American Standard Version says "they" instead of "he". This is clear not only from the context but other scriptures references as well. SEE Isaiah 19:23-25 In fact the peoples of the entire earth will go up to Jerusalem Psalm 72:8 Zechariah 9:10
snotbog1 3 years ago
Searched dozens of other translations for the use of "he" instead of "they" in Micah 7:12. I have aprox 60 different translations in my study as well as another 100 or so online. I did not find a single other translation that translates that with the word "he".
snotbog1 3 years ago
Are you familiar with Young's Literal Translation. It translates the text pretty much (word-for-word) "as is" without worrying about sentence structure in the English. Very wooden. It reads: "That day -- even unto thee it doth come in, From Asshur and the cities of the fortress, And from the fortress even unto the river, And from sea to sea, and mount to mount." Again, using "it" to refer to the "masses" that will come into Jerusalem during this future time. Is Mr Ali now an "it"?
snotbog1 3 years ago
Here's another translation from the Jewish Tanakh (JPS Translation). It reads: "This is a day when, to you, "tramplers" will come streaming from Assyria..." Again, the "plural" use of people marching into Jerusalem, calling them "tramplers".
snotbog1 3 years ago
Again, Mr Ali assigned himself that title. Even if somebody else gave it to him (which they didn't), what does that prove? Joseph Smith was visited by Jesus Himself, not to mention Moses and a slue of other Bible super-stars. Jesus' fufilled prophecies concerning Himself are numerous and very specific. (Ever read Isaiah 53 or Psalm 22?) Jesus' credentials are also supported with countless miracles. If you want references for more fufilled prochecy, I'd be more than happy to supply it to you.
snotbog1 3 years ago
Jesus will return from heaven and will appear in the clouds. Read Zechariah 12:10; compare that to Rev 1:7!! The Jewish people will see the one they pierced and mourn. If you want to "spiritualize" verses at whim, then you can make the bible say whatever you want it to say. I could find Santa Claus. Look, here's a sentence the starts with the word saint and end in a sentence "clause". PRESTO: SANTA CLAUS. Yet neither Santa nor Ali will save you from your sins, only Christ who died on the cross.
snotbog1 3 years ago
In Isreal my friend, not Persia.

pianohbc,
Are you not aware that the Bible prophesies that AFTER the Son, the Everlasting Father will come to earth seated upon the throne of David to bring God's Kingdom?
If you truly want to follow Jesus to the Father, the proofs in this video show you WHO the Everlasting Father IS.
The title "Father" refers to the potency of the Revelation of Baha'u'llah, not that He is God physically.
God is an Infinite Invisible Essence. "Father" is the potency of Reflection of Light through Baha'u'llah.

adamjacob- where in scripture does it say after the son comes the Father? The son reigns eternal with the Father
pianohbc 3 years ago
pianohbc,
In John 16:13-15 Jesus describes the coming of the "Spirit of Truth" as the coming of the Father who "shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you." He explains that only the Father has what is his (Jesus'), & also explains that the Spirit of Truth has what is his, showing that the Spirit of Truth IS the Father.
Isaiah explicitly prophesies the coming of the Everlasting Father who will bring God's government, the Kingdom (Davidic) of God on earth that Jesus told us to pray for.

Sounds like an antichrist to me...
unitim 4 years ago
unitim,
According to the Bible, the "antichrists" are those that don't accept Jesus' physical lineage from David through his father Joseph. The word Christ means "anointed male lineal descendent of King David." Therefore, to be anti or against "Christ" is to be against this lineage, of which Jesus & Baha'u'llah are both from.
adamjacob9 4 years ago
unitim,
Baha'u'llah upholds and proclaims the teachings of Jesus Christ, and as you can see from this video, also fulfills all of the prophecies for the 2nd Christ. The Christian clergy have built up a false image of "Antichrist" so that the people won't accept the 2nd Christ. This they have done to keep the money rolling in.

And he that turneth unto whatsoever else is indeed in grievous error." W&T pg. 25 When they turned to the "Hands" & Ruhiyah Khanum, they turned to "whatsoever else"
