  • Yes, I can handle "the pressure". In my experience the way to get big bucks on public land is as follows: 1. Google earth the area. Don't be ashamed of using this as a tool. It doesn't make you less of a hunter. 2. Be willing to go far beyond where the other hunters are willing to go. 3. When you find a lot of good, fresh sign, stay there all day. OK, so this isn't going to be bullet proof but it will greatly reduce your chances. It's not as hard as some people like to make it out to be.

  • From a MO conservation agent:

"There is no law against video taping hunts anywhere in Missouri. There may be a need to get a special use permit on Conservation land. Depending on what they are doing. But, a couple guys video taping does not require anything."

  • From two MO conservation agents:

"There is no law against video taping hunts anywhere in Missouri. There may be a need to get a special use permit on Conservation land. Depending on what they are doing. But, a couple guys video taping does not require anything."

"As far as i know it is legal. The only restrictions involve guiding for pay on department areas."

  • This video was made STRICTLY to document mine and my wife's hunting experiences together. It was meant only to show our friends and family...not to make any profit off. Hunting is a sport of honesty, integrity, honor, and respect...especially for the brotherhood of the sport, other hunters, and their success as well............... SHOW SOME!

  • It's illegal to make a profit off a film on CA land. It is not illegal to show your friends and family your hunting experience. To be honest with you.I don't even know why you would make a comment like that in the first place. We do this for fun and family bonding time... not to prove anything to you or anyone else. If you didn't like it...sorry. You don't have to go around putting peoples video's down and claiming to know where they hunt ( like it's blackmail) because your jealous.

  • you need to be careful leaving your stand out on public land. you are suposed to take your stand with you everytime you leave. it is against the law to leave a stand out on public land over night. dont let an agent catch you. it will cost you.

  • @srcetme You obviously need to go back to hunter education or maybe pick up a regulation book... If you hunt private land why would you comment on public land... My wife and I hunt different conservation properties all over Missouri. I know my regulations... It is amazing how many hunter's I talk to that have no idea what they're really talking about.... You sound like the guy you buy tags from at Wal-Mart that thinks he knows something....LOL

  • @ArdonMcKinley ok bud sorry that they have changed the rules on the stands on public land. i have hunted public land before it buts up to my families ground. no i dont shop for anything a wal-mart im a unoin member. but its cool that they allow stands to be put up sept 1 to jan 31. they should have done that along time ago. i got a ticket when i was 15 in carter county public land next to current river. just didnt want to see that happen to someone else. they took my stand as evidence.

  • he is hunting in Missouri, I know what wma also but I will keep that one under my hat because I hunt it also. The signs on the fence give it away, need to be more carefull when filming or you will have people all over you.

  • @MLAMB1241 I really dont care who knows ...but FYI those signs are on EVERY CONSERVATION PROPERTY in MISSOURI... If I was a bettin' man I'd say you have no idea where we were hunting. And, I show the signs so that everyone knows that I'm on conservation land tearin' up big bucks... I'm not worried about people or even the location of this kill.... WE HUNT EVERYWHERE IN MISSOURI to show people what REAL HUNTERS can film.

  • @ArdonMcKinley easy partner, lol. Yes some of he signs are at every CA, but another one give you away. Wasn't trying to set you off, just offering some advice to help you out. However, the fact that I struck a nerve says I got you nailed. By the way, it is illegal to film hunts on public land in Missouri in case you have not read your regulations.

  • What state are you hunting in?

  • great job and a awesome buck
