  • I live in Dublin yet I never heard of this place b4. Can U tell me exactly where it is? Is it around the Smithfield or Church Street areas..I'm really intrigued by this place now. I would be very interested in trying to get some proper footage on video if I could. Hidden cameras would be the order of the day for me..They don't do strip searches, do they?..lol...I hope not! I would love to have a real close up look at the mummies. 1st time I ever heard of IRE having Mummies..lol...Awesome though!

  • great job it remembers me my past life

  • thank u so much chris for the sneaky shots u got in,was so interesting to see the mummies,

  • Interesting! The crypt of St. Michan's in Dublin. A Igreja nao eh catolica.

  • This gave me goosebumps. Good job. The locations you go to are great. I haven't done any traveling in a long time due to health and no money. Ha. Like a lot of others probably, so it's great when you take me along. I always look forward to seeing where you are next and what you have encountered. Thx once again for the time and effort.

  • Truly amazing how the remains of the mumies are still there. Creepy.

  • wat a place man, im originly from belfast and i do believe in paranormal great vid m8.

  • Very nice, Chris....I definitely want to post about this location. BTW...thanks for your support....Lon

  • i dont understand how your vid views have gone up by 900 in 2 days but no one rates. whats that all about??

  • Hi Seany, I think a lot of people forget to do it. Ratings are so important in this game:)

  • I always try and remember to give you five stars. You were one of my 1st subscriptions on here and i still ever so enjoy your videos. great work once again!

  • Thankyou my friend:) I very much appreciate your support.

  • Awesome, Chris - as always. Very interesting place, for sure. I hope you can do a more thorough investigation there at some point; that would just be awesome...

  • It would be great to do so, so who knows:) Thanks for commenting my friend:)

  • Well, Chris, if you ever *do* get to do it, you know I'll be one of the first ones here to watch the results. I've always enjoyed your work, and I know I always will. :)

  • Oh:) You are making me blush! lol. I really do appreciate you and everyone else that supports my work as it is nice to know that there are a lot of decent folk like yourself that enjoys what I do.

    Thankyou!

  • Did I read somewhere that cross bones were an old Templar symbol? Or possibly early masonic?

  • Hi, please read my reply to MamaMacabre.

  • Welcome back!

  • Thanks Mama :) Hopefully more videos later on, and more interesting investigations.

  • I notice the leg bones of the Crusader are crossed.

  • The reason they believe this body to be a Crusader or indeed a Templar is because the legs are crossed. However, there is no evidence to prove who this man was. In truth anyone could have crossed his legs - so the verdict is open on that assumption.

  • Awesome Chris~!! i like the Snap Shot @ 3:12. from there i spotted 5 ORBs in that shot..

    1) 2 at the ceiling of the organ

    2)2 at the pews

    3) 1 the most obvious and i believe it has strong energy from its glow...

  • Hi there! There was certainly a lot going on when I was in the church. I only wish I could have stayed longer:)

  • Awesome, John here,

Good job sneaking the Pics out ;)

You should get one of the button video cameras,

Quality is not so great but they do work ;)

    Be Well

    John

  • Hi John - Hope you and Fran are okay:)

Videoing in any building is getting problematic and generally bans are imposed for no reason.

I`m thinking of investing in using covert equipment.

  • Brilliant job dude!! Really enjoyed it!!

  • Thanks Vee:) Really appreciate that comment.

  • Good Job Chris...bummer u could not record and why not?? Thing is in a raving catholic country why are the bodies not buried...I really do not get that at all???

If ur going to Italy I'm going with you dude, pick up Heidi and Leanne on the way!!! ^_^ some outstanding mummies there..another catholic country!!! O_O

  • Hi Vee:) The church is actually Protestant, and belongs to the Church of Ireland. Storing bodies in the crypt was, I think, because of the natural dry atmosphere of the Limestone bedrock. If I go to see the mummified bodies of Italy, you are all more than welcome:)

  • @Constantine99999

Ohhh a Protestant church...I do hope u get to go to Itally..that would be another excellent vid!! :D

  • Im jealous cos theres no cool old buidings like that around here.

  • I love the USA and Canada for it`s large open spaces which we have so few of here, but I`m compensated by the wonderful old buildings that still survive.

  • I love the open spaces here too. I went to England once years ago I couldnt get enough of the old architecture there, things like that fascinate me as well as ghosts :)

  • The two seem to go together well:)

But North America has some interesting oldish buildings:)

  • Oh and have you heard of a Ghost Horse before. Me and my friend saw a phantom horse which is why I started looking into paranormal stuff ,wierd.

  • I`ve heard of all types of phantoms but not of a ghost horse. That sounds interesting.

  • Strangest thing we ever seen lol

  • It would be great if you & the boys can go back there & do a proper search down below but we know that some people can be a bit iffy about your line of work.

For what you did get to show us was fantastic, a good deal of history this building has but alas a sad one as well!

Well I hope that in the near future that you can go back & that you're allowed to film & photograph to your hearts content & get to know the tombs guests a little better?!

Fair weather & a safe journey:

  • And the boys!!! There are girlies too lol

    Like mee!! lol xx

  • How could anyone forget you Dee:)

  • Sorry Dee, didn't mean to offend the fairer sex LOL.

Being fair does not how-ever mean weak, so keep up the good work boys & girls!

  • I think this church has so much historical connections that I was sad to see it was so unloved. I understand the church is now in an area that makes it`s future hang in doubt. But we`ll see what happens. Thanks for commenting:)

  • Thats amazing but not in a good way, I would have thought that something that old & with such diverse history, that a preserve order would have been slapped on it???

I'll keep my fingers crossed & hope that you can have another crack at it in the near future?!

Keep it up Chris, love your work...will have to tell you in private of a couple of things that have happened in my family; might interest you?

  • Sorry mate - can you get back to me?

    Chris

  • Great stuff Chris and thanks for another super upload. Those Mummies could certainly have an interesting debate: a nun, thief; crusader and an unknown soul!

  • Lol! That would be interesting:)

In truth nobody really knows who these people were. But it would be great to find out!

  • hi chris! good follow-up to seanys video he posted a while back. lots of interesting history and the organ is fascinating! thanks for sharing!

  • Glad you enjoyed it Jo:)

Perhaps one day we`ll be able to properly explore this crypt. Thanks for commenting.

  • magnificent church ! I agree with your EVP assessment, it does sound like "I love you". I am in awe of that organ, and wish I could see it ( touch it ) in person. I have read about the mummies and the supposed templar connection too bad you could not video. Fabulous capture of the orbs above the brothers though. Intriguing that the orb didnt move at all in eithr shot, thereby validating that it is not a "camera anomaly". great video, very interesting.

  • It is a magnificant church Sharon, and has some really great historical connections:)

As always I appreciate you dropping by and commenting.

If at some point in the future they relax filming, I`ll certainly return again.

  • magnificent even! lol

  • Atmospheric, spooky, though-provoking fun.

  • Thankyou for commenting:)

  • great job chris ....tazprs ech randy

  • Thanks Randy:)

  • excellent as ever, shame they would not let you conduct a proper investigation, but i suppose, the bones have a right to there peace, many blessings chris.x

  • Thanks Red:) You are right, the dead deserve their own peace. Thanks for commenting. Chris

  • fascinating!

  • Thankyou!:) Appreciate your comment.

  • Ohh naughty Chris, being told you can't photograph and film, then doing it anyway!. lol Even worse when they saw your Haunted Earth jacket. The pictures of the mummies looked spooky!

  • It`s good to be naughty Dee - and I thought you already knew that! lol

Yeah, the Haunted Earth jacket was a bit of a giveaway:)

  • would please answer some of my questions

1-how do u hear what spirits are saying on EVPs

2-do u see ghosts and spirits if yes how was you first reaction when you saw a spirit for the first time

3-when did u decide to be a paranormal investigator and how was your familys reaction

4-im 14 am i too young for paranormal cuz i do know alot

sry for asking so many questions

    have a nice day!!

  • Let me see:)

    1) We all hear EVP sometimes differently, and it`s taken from cameras or recorders.

    2) I can`t remember very clearly as I was very small when it first happened.

    3) I decided 6 years ago, and I received no support from my family. They thought I was mad to do so.lol

    4) No problems:)

  • The picture of you in the church at 3:11 seems to show an orb or two. Any sense of a spirit at that moment Chris?

  • I could feel someone around me, but I don`t always see or know who it was. And that was the case in this instance. But judging by the orbs I think they were attracted by my own energy. It certainly makes an interesting picture:)

  • nice video!!

    your so lucky

we dont have much haunted places in my country

  • There are spiritual presences everywhere on this planet. No country is more or less haunted than any other I`m afraid:)

  • Excellent video Chris! Informative and very clear imagery. Thank you.

  • Thankyou:) I appreciate your comments and input.

  • great and interesting video again!

  • Thankyou my friend:) Thanks for commenting!

  • five stars as ever my friend :-)

  • Thankyou:) I as always appreciate your support!

  • Great work!!!

  • Thankyou:)

  • wow this place is very very VERY scary, you must starting to fight the authorities for real investigation time there...

  • Hi Chris,welome back : )

Wow you fully suraunded by orbs by 3:11 and clear Evp too....thanks for sneaking in the camera and sharing !!!

  • Hiya Heidi!

Yes, I was definitely being followed around inside that church, albeit rather briefly:)

    Glad you enjoyed the presentation.

  • Thanks for sneaking in the camera & the good shots. Fascinating place.

  • `Sneaking` - The art of modern paranormal investigation. lol!

Glad you were pleased with what we had:)

  • Fantastic evidence on the sly. The EVP was pretty clear, too. The hauntings must permeate Dublin. Dare say one would be unable to walk should all the spirits of Dublin stand at once. Good presentation and congratulations on the detective work. Would have loved to have seen that black shadow moving, but I do trust your word and discription. Compeling video.

    Dave Stacey

  • Hi Dave:) I don`t always see or hear things, but that shadow was something else. There was no way it was connected to anyone present, so I was frustrated that I couldn`t capture it. Dublin is indeed a very haunted city, and with such a fantastic history:) Thanks for commenting.

  • 'Sneaky shots in'....lol. So cool that you were able to get a couple in.

Looks like a great place to visit. I hope in time and money willing I can get there amongst many other places I would love to see too.

Thanks for sharing this with us , Chris.

  • Hi Leanne:) Yes in this field of work you often have to be sneaky! lol

You should make the effort. Dublin is a beautiful city to visit. But a trite dodgy at night - like anywhere now:(

This church is a rare gem with so much history!:)

  • thanks chris glad to see you back love the video five stars

  • Thankyou my friend - Appreciate your rating:)

  • Great informative video 5*s.

  • Thanks Nigel - Thanks for your support:)

  • mummys? sounds scaryy

  • They do indeed:)

  • Could be the usual odd transfer of sound on YouTube, but I hear either "Bill loves you" or maybe French- "Belle le jour"? I definately don't hear "I" though.

Thank you so much for sharing Chris!

  • My pleasure - It was Seany`s idea to visit this wonderful location, and well worth the visit.

    Thanks for commenting:)

  • i love you or hello?

  • EVP is so subjective to what our brains interpret.

    So either could be correct.

  • Those Mummys were way cool. the Church was neat too!

  • Thanks 2blit. Glad you enjoyed this rather brief presentation:)

  • I miss the old Intro

  • What an interesting church ! full of history. Great to see you again Chris !

  • Thanks Narm, I couldn`t keep away for too long:)

  • MORE MORE!!! but it appears not, why were you ushered out? closing time or ??

  • @cooking23 Yes closing time unfortunately

  • As Seanyboy1982 says, it was unfortunately closing:(

  • Cant believe you did this already!! So much for taking it easy he you got home

  • They say Seany the devil has idle hands:) I couldn`t resist getting this one done. Appreciate all the help you gave me:)

  • Very interesting. Welcome back on Chris. Missed your videos.

  • Hi Evy - Yes I have missed being away, unfortunately I`ve been busy with other commitments, but I am back!! :)

  • thanks

  • No problems:)

  • great video........5*****

  • Thankyou my friend:)

  • Very very interesting!

  • Thankyou Dustin:)

  • Excellent looks like you had a few other interested unseen participants as well. ;)

    5*

  • Hi Wayne - Yes I noticed I was being followed around a bit in the church - I hope the evp wasn`t for me! lol

    Appreciate you commenting.

  • this is amazing thank you!

  • And thankyou for commenting:)

  • Fascinating video! Thank you for it! (:

  • No problems - Glad you enjoyed:)

  • thank you very much for posting

    very interesting!

  • Yay, a new vid :D Awsome as usual ;) To bad you could't videotape in the crypt.

  • Lol!. Thanks for commenting Flexina - unfortunately we weren`t allowed. This attitude is endemic to Western Europe. If you travel East or to America they are more than happy to allow you to video. Here in the West cash sometimes persuades a change of opinion:) The reason here (I was told) was `respect for the dead` - hence the skulls put out on the floor for public display:)

  • Wow, that's interesting! Thanks for posting! :)

  • Pleased very much you enjoyed it:)
