I like the premise. The characters need less shock value one liners and more personal connection with the actors in many cases. I feel like I am watching a bunch of people who dont really like or care about the values they are representing. Zeus is a frat geek instead of the all father, too much one liner slapstick. YOU ARE GODS! Very different from spoiled college kids with trust funds. Try to like your characters and represent for them instead of parody. see hestia/hades
I think the adaptation/changed gods r the funniest. i think the deal is that its been FOREVER since we've seen these gods and they have changed over time without ppl thinking about them. i dont wanna just see the same old hera and zeus over and over again - these r cool cuz its a new version/new story. and @Toukisarchu, its like reality tv when u meet lots of the characters in the beginning - I like Zeus and hermes best
The production quality is fantastic, but I have to say I am having a hard time getting into this series. I dont feel like there is anything to draw me in... Its not really that funny (the dildo thing was more shock value then funny), and I cant relate to any of the characters. I think having so many characters makes it hard to develope any sort of feeling with any of them.
