  • I find it funny people are comparing a SUPER CAR to an economy sports car made in 1995 like the Supra. Putting Supra and Ford GT is like putting Tricycle in the same sentence as Hyabusa. Supra's will never be that at the status of a Ford GT price or performance wise and they will never reach the same top speed as this car. Only once you dump 100K into that Supra will it even begin to touch what this car can do stock. Supra's are not that impressive.

  • @BIHxJDMxSUPRA with two psi? lol thats funny, you make me laugh, i also noticed that you need to completely upgrade everything but the block to run it at 1000hp for any length of time, not to mention the amount of boost you'd need. the stock 5.4 in the ford gt can handle 1500hp, and eeven more proof that ford is better, check out fords xr6 inline 6 engine, makes 1000hp pretty damn easy.

  • @3000gtvr45Lebtt the 2jz is a 3l 180 ci I6 obviously it cant make that much power with such low psi but it can make the power much more reliably then any ford engine

  • @BIHxJDMxSUPRA really? how so? i remember seeing ford gt's beating ferrari's, but not any supras, hmm most of fords engines can take alot of abuse, just look at the mustang, look at how many are on the road even though people rip the shit out of them. if thats not a sign of reliability, then how bout the fact that ford hasn't had any serious recalls, unlike toyota ;), not to mention the fact that most ambulances use fords as a base CUZ THEIR SO RELIABLE. if thats not a sign i don't know what is.

  • @3000gtvr45Lebtt mustangs are pretty reliable but i was talking about ford gt but if you want to talk about economy cars look at any single car magazine and youll see toyota and honda most reliable in every single category of cars and domestics and euro cars usually the least reliable

  • @BIHxJDMxSUPRA The Ford GT has the same engine as a GT500. It is just a DOHC mod 4v with a big blower. It aint rocket science, it aint terribly exotic and it sure as hell aint unreliable.

  • @JonJon95GT Ford GT and GT500 engines hold the same displacement and same basic design, but they are 2 different beasts.

  • @BIHxJDMxSUPRA I garuntee that the 2JZ @ 1000hp will let go way before the Ford 5.4L @ 1000hp. your reliability claims are bogus and you obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Look up Project Code Red. it is a collaboration between Shelby and Nelson Racing. Nelson put a 5.4L through its paces on a dyno over 1000 times at over 1000hp, virtually no wear on the engine. If that isnt reliablility then I don't know what is.

  • im expecting a huge settlement in a few months. Im gonna get a FORD GT for myself. How much power can the 4.0L whipple produce. I dont want to go with a twin turbo system for it but id like to get my power around 850-900hp. any suggestions, and where are you located?

  • that says 667.02tq... not 883.02tq....not saying that isn't a ton of torque just looking out ....he has a ton of room to grow with that supercharger...I believe that supercharger can support around 1100rwhp or more....If he is running on pump gas the max psi for street use is around 16-18psi...you can get away with a little more if you run methanol injection....dohc modular v8's are amazing

  • It's actually not a roots, it's a twin screw. It is a totally different design. But you are right though... gotta love the INSTANT boost right off of idle at wide open throttle though. LOVE it. :-)
