i'm the same way. i've never been big on expensive purses. i've never bought a big brand name purse. the only brand name purse I have is a Louis Vouitton which was given to me for Christmas by one of my best friends and I don't use it. Maybe on special occasions. I love love love those hot hand packs. They are life savers during the winter time. I stick them inside my gloves on the palm of my hand. They have mini ones. Love it!

We carry the samethings in our purses LOL. Bandaids, medicine, hot hands, make-up, camera, gum, deo, pens all sorts of stuff lol. You never know what may happen, like if an emergency happens and you can't go home for some reason, I have everything I need in my purse. I have a very heavy purse lol.

My dad just recently died from Lung Cancer so I've seen what cancer does. I PRAY THAT YOURS CONTINUES TO STAY IN REMISSION RISA! We be lost without you. LOVE YA GIRL!

from my experience its better if you begin without experience. You generally have to work your way up but bartending school is a joke and a waste of money. Every club/bar is different, but they'd rather teach you than have you come in thinking you can make drinks you learned in school, but in reality you're stuck trying to remember what you memorized while 8 groups of people are waiting for a drink. Even if you have things memorized, its all about how quick you are & personality=more $ for them

i had APML (leukemia). January will be 6 years that it hasn't been detected in my body. With cancer you're never technically deemed "cured" because there's always a slight chance it can come back either in it's original state, or the chemo can cause a different kind, but you can be ___ years in remission.

I thought it was red...at any rate, I love it too! I just got my first Coach bag this summer and the only thing I dislike is..it's to big and I lose EVERYTHING in it! Plus it enables my tendencies to "store" everything in my purse!! lol I keep thinking "good golly if I did one of these tag videos itd be 45 minutes long!", Seriously, I have things "stored" in purses that I havent used in years! lol....I need therapy...

I usually don't buy in to the expensive purse thing either, but I have had a couple of bags that i have found in yard sales that have been really nice. i have this Michael Kors purse that I paid $20 at a yard sale and it still had the tags on it. It's made out of this really good leather, so it has lasted forever! and it is also my aqua, my fave color...yup! I rock that purse!

That is a nice purse. It is not about the money. I like coach, but I only buy them when I get my income tax returns. I would never just spend a whole paycheck money on one. I do not like superficial people. OMG it has to be this brand only.

i loooooove the coach bag your friend got you, it really nice. and you reminded me of my childhood a bit with the checkbook! it's really cute, i remember the old manual credit card swiper things too! people sometimes use checkbooks here, but most places don't accept them. i miss things like that - they will eventually be gone forever :(

Theyre a GODSEND. I am a habitually cold feeling type of person lol It's weird because my body gives off so much heat, but I nearly always feel cold and those are the best things ever invented. They have feet ones too called Toasti Toes. I googled and the brand is Heatmax - so go to heatmax. com and you can see the products. And they're relatively cheap considering that last as long as they do. My mom buys boxes off ebay every winter and hands them out to homeless people. So maybe try ebay?

Any dollar stores also carries them at this time of year. But be carefull guys, don't put your hands or toes directly on it, it can burn your skin :(

and risa, and believe me this is coming from the bargain champion, purses are the ONLY thing i am willing to spend a lot of money on. because the quality of the bag really does impact how long it lasts. and if you want a bag that you will love and will last you a lifetime, you have to shell out a little more cash than you want.

p.s. if you have a tjmaxx close to you, they often have great purses there :D

The only label I can find only mentions the fabrics, but no style number ;/ I bought it in May of 2008. The inner lining is green and red stripes and the inner label just says 78 DIESEL If I recall, it was like $275 retail...
