  • i didn't know chicago was actually cool

  • @PinkFloydrulez: We keep trying to tell people, but it's hard to get past all the Top 40 singles. The deep cuts like this never get played on rock radio.

  • Do you think you could upload the song "Progress?"? I would really appreciate it.

  • thanks a million for playing it, i have the record but it is a nice thing to heard from some one else... i am still 7 year old... always be

  • Así o más ROCK-JAZZ!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE I LISTEN CHICAGO!!!!!!!

  • never heard a more beautiful cymbal crash..

  • I love this..the horns are just as awesome as my beloved Terry Kath's voice!!!These guys..in the Kath era were untouchable. Thank you for posting this and again, Thank you Terry Kath, Walt p. Robert L, Lee L Danny and Jimmy P for you creativity, for the music that's 30+ yrs old and still is in touch with the social events of today.

  • I joined the Army 11-1-71, Ft. Ord, during Vietnam. This album helped me keep my compess. The entire alblum is a masterpiece. Chicago has remained a lasting American center piece of homegrown music to rock the soul by.

  • Today, at 7 hrs., when I was coming back to home, I heard this song and every thing was perfect. It's perfect.

  • excellent!! what a great track!!!

  • To truely know how Chicago music was, One needs to listen the Full Vynil 33 rpm Long Plays, one by one, from side A to side B, that is the only way to understand the excellent work of Chicago including musical compositions, lyrics and all of that miscelaneous....

  • @recharchic these lyrics are fantastic!

  • Sylvette, this was one of Chicago's best instrumental numbers during the Terry Kath era. Thanks for downloading this classic.

  • @gromarico , my pleasure always, Rom =)

  • see sylvette? you got that effect on your followers... everyone bowing to your awesomeness!!!

  • @dadurz :) so honored ♥.....Thank you so much for all the kind comments ♪

  • AMO ESTA CANCIÓN! me costó muchísimo dar con el nombre, la escuchaba seguido en Ensalada de Locos! por fin HOY la encontré :), estoy feliz... ajajajaja.

  • To my Chicago-loving friends and those who aren’t sure: If you want to buy an innovative Chicago album that didn’t pander to the corporate need for singles, Chicago III is the one to buy. No question about it. According to Wikipedia, it was recorded when the band was worn out and verging on exhaustion. And yet it is superb. The only singles are Lowdown and Free and, ironically, they are minor works compared to the rest of the album. And Terry Kath’s playing and songwriting shines. Buy it now.

  • Can somebody post the lyrics to this song, please?

  • @mrosenmeier If I were given to using assumed names, I'd like this comment more than once.

  • @mrosenmeier If you say 'La da da da da' about 60 times you will learn the song!

  • me gustan muchos inicios de Chicago gracias por subir esta versión

  • i haven't heard this one in many, many years. it could be the "best-named" song of all time.

  • Especially love Walt Parazaider's flute!

  • to the kids that went to vietnam.

  • this is a very BIG special from CHICAGO, i did not heard in more than 30 years, then about one year ago i found the vinyl with the poster. this is a flash back... when i was a kid i sat in the living room of my grand ma', and play it in the "MODULAR STEREO". i want t go back 8>)

  • Love Love Love this song, it's my favorite Chicago song of all time.NOBODY does it like Terry, I MISS HIM SOOOO MUCH. I'll Be happy when I go home to see him!!

  • the drummer in this song. laudenir de oliveira, perhaps?

  • @masquenada8 It's Danny Serapine baby!!! THE most underrated rock/jazz drummer!! This song rocks like yesterday!! These 20-something boys in their Terry Kath era could kick some serious booty. Then turn around, come back and kick some MORE!! Rock On Chicago!!

  • The live version of this song on Live at Carnegie Hall is superb. When you listen to how Terry totally changes playing this live and really makes this song rock it's easy to see how he was the heart and soul of the band.

  • Thans for posting this amazing song!

  • pura crema

  • Best. Lyrics. Ever!!! Haha great song!

  • Dang it Walt. You play that flute and I get really happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've *always* liked this one. Acoustic strum and solo, horn chart, double-time drum and bass, flute solo -- the whole thing. Thanks for posting.

  • Another thanks for posting. This was inspirational stuff for

some of us kids with drums in the 70's. You can find Danny Seraphine's great drum solo from the same album
