  • sing it sing it (snap) (snap)

  • Beyond Lou still being a great singer and a great performer visually he is a universally loved human being, an incredibly intelligent and creative guy who is very, very good to his fans.

  • Lou still has it. Great, especially in a live performance without all the perks of electronic enhancements.

  • lou is the real damn mccoy !

  • yes and lesley's is STILL 15 ! xxx 2U LOU!! marx (they still wanna throw Lesley off the next goddamnjew cruise !) .... cookin

  • Is it true that Lou has a 12 inch penis?

  • It's obviously nothing compared to the original, but for a dude in his 60's trying to sing this crazy falsetto he did in his 20's, he isn't making a bad showing of himself! At least he's actually trying to hit the notes unlike a lot of other old timers who revisit their old hits.

  • @tamerswan He still sounds okay, but he can't hold the notes anymore. He sounds like William Shatner.

  • give a break! didn't know this even existed! a nice treat in the middle of the night!

  • cant you focus the camera?

  • Lou, time to retire buddy.

  • He has a Elvis thing working for him.

  • Still so handsome and equally as appealing to the ears.

  • lou is the very best of the best

  • To all of you nut suckers out there, who have nothing but criticism - I don't recall seeing your video on YouTube. What's the matter, can't you cut it? I don't think that this guy does such a bad job for a 60+ year old. He knocked 'em dead when I was chewing bubble gum, and isn't too bad of a job now either. Rock 'till you drop Lou!

  • Still...the face of an angel. Thanks Lou!

  • At least he can hit those notes! Frankie Vallie has a group of young guys (background singers) to do that for him now because he can't do it anymore.

  • Give Lou credit!!! He still reaches the high notes to make "Lightning Strikes" a timeless hit. Not many who were in their prime in the 60's can claim that today.

  • @stevieboy5588 I beg to differ, Jay Black from Jay and the Americans sounds great and still hits the notes without dropping the key.

  • OOOFA.. Far be it from me to tell anyone how to make a living but there's nothing more pathetic than watching an old geezer from the 60's attempting to sing the old hits, especially when they have that "novelty" voice and they just can't keep up and don't have that energy anymore. sorry, but time is just too cruel a mistress.

  • @daveumpref *sigh* I have to agree for the most part...you hear the beginning and wait for the killer chorus and...it just doesn't quite happen. Now it actually DOES sound corny/cheesy. =/

  • Good work Lou. It sounds like Rick Moranis doing Frank Sinatra Jr. doing Lou Christie.

  • he's like the mickey rourke of music :D

  • @Bleumange thats funny as hell cuz i never thought of it but its the best description i have ever heard

  • his 'syncopation' is painful :L

  • Doesnt work without nomi's accent d:

  • Lightin' Lou. Sooo very sexy then, and now.

  • Thank you Luv---you made my night......AGAIN!!

  • Who found out about Lou Christie through Klaus Nomi?

    Cool jacket btw.

  • classic

  • 67 and sounds so good

  • OK Heads up. great performance of Lighting. Should be after 1000 times. Did you notice the guitar player? Get it over with. Resentment. No Doubt. This assholes getting 1500 bucks for the night and we' re getting 25. Nuff said . Figure it out.

  • Grecian 2000 or Just for men?

  • Great job Markel253!!! Nice work and hope to see more of your work!!! This is my favorite but there isn't one song of his that he doesn't do with perfection!!!! Hope you have a great day!!

  • Another smashing performance as expected!!!!! Yellow is definately a great color to bring outthe sparkling eyes!!! He is a true role model for others and has a heart of gold always helping others but hasno ego at all!!!

  • Oh yea--he still does it for me. Thanks Lou.

  • Look at him... he is just gorgeous!

  • He still has that great voice!

  • Yes, linlin4607, I couldn't agree with you more. He DOES look fabulous! And don't even get me started on his sexy voice. AND! Lou can sing an entire song without being "bleeped out!"

  • Well I am 63 and he looks fabulous to me and he sings a lot better than the young singers today who only talk thru a song. Go Lou go

  • I think he hits those high notes JUST FINE.

  • He's still excellent, but he sure can't hit those high notes like he did when this song was originally recorded! Age takes it's toll on everyone.

  • HOT, BABY LOVE, HOT!!! Love ya darlin'.

  • Very charismatic! LOVE IT!

  • 10Dec1971--Dawn, how about when he starts to take off his jacket? Also love his little moves around 1:35, and his sexy expression at 2:02! GO LOU!

  • Lou is STILL hot and sexy gorgeous! Most of the singers today look like they just got out of bed and forgot to look in a mirror. Also, they don't look like, sound like, or MOVE like Lou! I'll still love him when he's 80. GO, LOU BABY!

  • LousFool, YES!!! He is still sexy!! I'm only 38 but, have seen pictures and video of him from the 60's and he is still sexy, hot, etc etc.

    Dawn

  • I JUST BOUGHT HIS CD LAST YEAR, I'M26 AND LOVE LOVE LOVE HIS STUFF! LOU CHRISTIE IS TIMELESS AND MAKES AWESOME MUSIC-HE APPEALS JUST AS MUCH AS RECENT POP MUSIC SINGERS/BANDS. HE IS FANTASTIC (and still sexy!)

  • @ptjkane

I'm 19 and I only listen to 50's-90's music along with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. I honestly for the life of me stand the state of todays music. I've turned to the music I grew up listening to cuz when I listen to it it makes perfect sense to me and I understand it more clear. As far as Rap/Hip-Hop goes, well 80's-90's Rap/Hip-Hop is byfar more superior. God bless the souls of Pac, Big, Big Pun, Eazy-E. We lost REAL TALENT after their deaths :(

  • @RE4LEGEND "I'm 19 and I'm a faggot who appreciates 70's hairy porn"

stop trying to be unique D:

  • @Bleumange

Ohhh Bleumange I am like sooooo sorry you feel that way about me baby. C'mere cute buns lemme show you how much I deeply admire "70's hairy porn". LMAO Nah really dude go bore somebody else with your lame homo insults.

  • @RE4LEGEND you're an insult :D

I was giving an alternative example, you try to make yourself look special by saying your age and then saying you appreciate something from the 70's :l

  • @Bleumange

And? Its not like you've ever givin your age out where others can view/hear it. Everybody has or will do that in life.

  • @RE4LEGEND it was an example you retard :L

you're giving your age and saying you appreciate something other people you know dont, thus trying to make yourself unique

  • @Bleumange

Oh now your getting personal cutie. xD

Actually Bleu baby I grew up listening to the oldies music on Magic 96.1 before it changed to 96.1 the beat. I heard The Four Tops, The Turtles, The Beatles, Lou Christie here, and loads more.

  • @RE4LEGEND Which answers my point how o_o

  • @ptjkane: I totally understand your point. I'm 30 years old. The music that's out on the radio is garbage. When I reach for CDs, I'm reaching for Presley, The Diamonds, The Platters, Lou Christie, The Four Seasons, and countless other outstanding bands from when music WAS MUSIC. I was born way too late in life. I'm embarrassed by what's out on the radio now.

  • @ptjkane If you're not already, listen to Frankie Vallie, Garry Plucket etc.

  • @ptjkane check out Frankie Vallie, Gary Plucket and also The Rocking Berries - their song "he's in town" is great

  • @ptjkane NONE GIVES A FUCK HOW OLD YOU ARE.

  • I thought he didn't feel good, you could see it, poor baby. I would have nursed him back to health! It didn't affect is voice though, he still sounded fantastic!

  • glad Lou is feeling better!! the flu didn't stop him from putting on yet another great show! Your the best!!!

  • Keep rocking man!!!!!

  • Darn they don't

get any better then Lou. What a man. He keeps going and going. Give me a chance I'll keep going and going with him. Love ya Lou.

  • Wow, I can't believe he is still hitting some of those high notes after all these years. Fantastic!

  • You know, he can't be a kid. Hell, I'm an old man now and that was popular when I was young! Lou is still the man!

  • can't wait to see him again in oct & go on the cruise he will be on ... Lou, you will NEVER lose it. If you do i will help you find it!!! LOL

  • How does this man do it?! He gets better and better and sexier and sexier!!

  • Agree 100%

  • @catzpg thats my grandfather and ive gotta say that just makes me feel icky

  • @scourgebane1 Same here.

  • @scourgebane1 ahahahahahahaha!! Well, listen kid, too bad, Grandfathers can be Old Duds, or Old DUDES, and you will WISH someone calls YOU sexy in your 60s or 70s. I'm just sayin'. Be proud of "gramps" - I've been singing along with him for over 40 years! Go, Lou!

  • If I ever see him, I'll give him a sign!

  • He only gets sexier!

  • Lou will never lose it. He has it all, looks, body and yes voice.Oops can't forget the moves. What more couls a lady ask for. Well to have Lou close to her. Love ya Lou.

  • Love Ya Lou! Still got that wicked little smile that shows you got and you know it!
