In a political society we are not alone. Our good is interconnected with others. Achieving a form of solidarity. From actively sympathising and empathising with other strangers in that society - a form of patriotism.

1. Relations / Mutual dependancy
Based fundamentally on relationships / relationships of 'reciprocity'; an active relationship of give and take - equally situated; where liberty and equality characterise that relationship; and where freedom and possibility of fulfilment is interconnected with the fulfilment of others.
