for beginners, I'd say a MUCH EASIER way to get (pretty much) this same sound is to just load up 3xosc and set each oscillator to a saw wave and just throw a low pass filter on it. Then just raise the cutoff as needed. :)

z3ta is a sketchy vst.

@DeejayMCraze Be sure the browser is open (F8), open the Zeta+ VST, click on the little arrow in the up-left corner and then Parameters>Browse paramenters. Then click the cutoff in the Zeta+ windows, and in the browser it should light up, right click and Create Automation Clip

First of all you must have a Z3ta+ VST opened. Then open your browser (F8), click "Current project", then "Generators" and then you should see "Fruity Wrapper (z3ta+)". Click on it and all the Z3ta+ parameters will be shown [You can also reach that page by clicking on the little arrow in the left corner of the Z3ta+ and clicking "Browse Parameters"].The cutoff you need is named "Fil1 Cutoff"

For those who dream of creating their own tracks (especially for electro) I recommend you to use fl studio. Do not give up after a few tries it seems complicated but it's pretty easy. I have used it for 2 months and I have no experience with programs like fl studio. How do you make the sounds blend in with each other?

Cause if you listen to the beginning you can tell that there is a slight pause before the melody plays again, but when you show it at 7:32 the sounds blend into one another...if you understand what I mean

@ABFan010 There are many ways. It's usually just automation on the filter cut off. Create a sound, low pass it and then automate the filter cut off to rise slowly. You can automate other effects at the same time to create a swirling mass of sound.

@fakedithaha Oh, no doubt for simple stuff. But if you learn how to use Maximus (the vst behind soundgoodizer), it can sound far better and be used for large mixes without raping the quality. I often start from the soundgoodizer presets for maximus and then fine tune each compressor band as needed

It's been almost a year since I commented on the tutorial quality, and my opinion stands. You don't grow as a digital musician by finding presets, loops, and using phony all-in-one mixing tools. Most of this teaches bad habits. But the entirely of it can be summed up in 3 points: Select this preset, automate filter cutoff, and insert drum loop. Bravo defenders of uselessness.

Not because it's called "How to create deadmau5 synth sound, and mix it properly, and make a drumbeat that fits, and make an entire song. But, however, i see your point. And as iv'e said nearly one thousand times, i didn't want to spend time on the mixing or beat producing. If i would, i could have created another tutorial just for that instead.
