Why would you use the ICAO codes to mention the airport of origin and the destination? are you a pilot or someone related to aviation industry :) .....i really like the quality of your video it was nice ...nice work with the video.!
u guys need to shut up. 777 lands here easily. if u havent seen san diego airport in real life stop commenting abut how it cant land here. it can and it does land here. 747s come on occasion too. the 77 doesnt need the world to stop or takeoff.
I've flown in and out of KSAN many times. A 747 going in and out wouldn't surprise me nearly as much as a 777. I am honestly amazed that this is possible. Not only from the (apparently not as) short (as I thought) runway, but from the approach that's so close to downtown highrises.
@hbrown202 I know, but British Airways is my favorite airline and to be quite frank, their product as well as level of service is far greater then that offered by Delta at the moment. i think it stands to reason that if British Airways resumed services to Detroit, they'd most likely force Delta to decrease their frequencies on the DTW-LHR route. I'd just love to see British Airways back
@CoastersBolts I'll bet! I'm from England myself, and I visited your beautiful city in 2006 with US Airways, it must be weird seeing all the relatively small airbus A320's and 737's coming in, then this f*ck-off huge 777 bearing down! I'm planning to come back to SD this year, but I'll be flying US Airways again, they're cheaper, and I had a good experience with them last time.
how long was the flight?

@tytyman55 BA website says it's an 11 hour flight. Not bad.

@datsniggawater a 747 use to fly this route, they only fueled enought to get to Phoenix, where they filled to full and went off to London.

Hopefully BA's resumption of services to San Diego means there's hope that they well relaunch Detroit in the forseeable future

@TSBA92 Detroit is served nonstop 3x daily by Delta.
