The purpose is to present an argument based on the bible that 'Is it possible?' that Jesus' coming already happened shortly after he left. To find this out we must read the verse before and after to see if this is metaphorical, and we find these verses also uses metaphors as in eating the flesh of horses and king etc.

@areyouforrealdude I think from LISTENING to his teachings  Matthew 24:34 states Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till all these things be fullfilled. So it would be talking to the people of that era/generation/time not to be for all time. If I'm reading correctly it seems like it has already taken place. But it's all MAKE be-LIE-ve. Pagan Ankh?
